Does anyone know what this second case is about exactly? Be interesting to know what the agreement was, what was it for, why did EUA enter into it and what’s led to the claim / dispute.

I’m not sure how this compares to EUA in terms of sanctions and especially Rosgeo being owned by the Russian state but there again, what’s the difference between buying a license from Rosgeo vs a state auction.

Hopefully we will get an update on whether the JV can be progressed or not when the 24 months is up.

In any case, it’s promising with regards to a western company being able to invest significant funds into the mining sector there.

I did think that someone like Adani Group could be a contender and then thought FFS when they were hit by the Hindenburg report. Still, they seem to be recovering from that now and their green energy strategy will run for a long time. The wider Indian strategy for green energy is huge so there should be plenty of demand from India especially in view of their competition with China.

I don’t think anyone blames TW for the SP. If anything, a negative TW view is more likely to be taken as a buy signal.

I don’t know if that means that the EUA2 version would have required anywhere near the same level of investment but it would have required some investment which the BoD thought they’d be able to make now since pilot production was due to start next year.

Technology / production processes can change but if PGMs remain relevant then countries will be needing to secure their supplies, especially as the likes of China and India increase their activity in this sector.
