I think the article is dubious. Firstly I can't find any reference to the Business Week story mentioned. Also the TNBC was held in May 18. If negotiations were suspended, why did we have several RNS issued by Kibo, telling the market that PPA was still progressing. I have a feeling that the journalist has his story all mixed up and is referring to May 2017!

LC has been praising the TGov full support for this strategic nationaly important project. I expect an RNS in the morning stating that is still the case!

Are they bright enough to know that Q2 effectively ends tomorrow. I'm off on holiday tomorrow. Would be a lovely start if the PPA RNS landed :)

I have a very big boot which will be squarely aimed at LC. So get on the phone to the bulldozer and push him to announce the PPA or at least SML. Do it right by the shareholders and give us some proper timelines. And for heaven's sake tell us why with 40 people working on it, it's still not signed!

It's got to happen before AGM. If it doesn't I will personally give LC a real grilling. LC being so relaxed lately, is proof that PPA is in the bag.

The highlights of the report include: · Maiden Coal Resource Statement for the KMCR indicating total mineable In-situ Coal Resource of 302.9 million tonnes (257.5 Mt attributable to Kibo on an 85% basis) as per the SAMREC categories below (Refer Table 1 below for detailed Coal Resource Statement) Results from simple washability indicate that there is potential to lower the ash content, increase the calorific value and lower the total sulphur content by washing the coal at an appropriate density (de-stoning) to maximize coal yields for use in a thermal power plant; and · Further testing from bulk samples obtained from existing and recently drilled large diameter hotels across the coal deposit (includes MCR and KMCR) by Shumba Energy, has yielded results which demonstrate that favorable coal quality can be achieved through industry standard beneficiation processes. This will provide suitable coal products for coal to power generation with low sulphur content. So why sell now? You would only do that if you expected bad news or you desperately needed the money. All news from Kibo and TGov is still positive, so I'm inclined to go with some type of manipulation ahead of good news.
