This company seems to be run by a group of people who haven't a clue how to progress this project to the benefit of shareholders. If Marty was behind both the podcast and the Proactive Investor article, then I now have no confidence in his appointment, despite his CV. He clearly has no idea what he is supposed to be doing as regards PR.

I think all us LTHs are hoping for that too! Personally I think we need to get to actual construction (after the FEED stage) before we hit those levels. Which means 2026 according to Marty's interview.

Unless we find a very generous buyer before then of course!

Its all small buys because of yesterday's Proactive Investor article link. A couple of weeks without more news and those small buyers will sell and take their £30 profit unfortunately.

Its only the really big RSN news that LTH holders have been patiently waiting for that will boost the share price by 3-5 times.

This is the really interesting bit for me:-

I don't recall an "insider" being quoted in any previous article about Zioc, paid for or otherwise.

I think this is the first Zioc article I have read that wasn't commissioned by and paid for by the company. Assuming Proactive Investors were not paid for it of course!

Its definitely the first article to quote an "insider".

A not unsurprising EPC as I think we all knew there were agreement issues.

This may still pay off though, especially with PowerChina's interest in operating the mine, so all is not lost at all.

MM has posted a very plausible interpretation of the podcast over on the other board - that the podcast was recruitment based, designed to attract high quality employees for the next stage of the project. That interpretation definitely fits in with much of the content of the podcast and with who was hosting it.

However, to include information on the anticipated timings/dates of the project though - timings that have not yet appeared in an RNS - was incredibly naive for someone of Marty's stature. He perhaps did not think the podcast would reach the ears of small shareholders, and therefore did not anticipate the effect on the share price.

Hopefully the effect will be short term and confidence will be restored by an RNS soon announcing the strategic partner for the FEED. And some explanation of whether the strategic partner and their investment will continue past the FEED stage.

What has spooked everyone from the very weirdly times podcast is this in my view:-

"Financial investment/construction decision middle 2026."

which seems to indicate that a final decision on the mine's construction will not be made until after the FEED stage.

I have no idea if that was what Marty actually meant as I can't see a prospective partner coming into to finance FEED without any confidence or assurance that construction will then go ahead.

That is really why it was such a strange podcast as it included inferences and timelines that would have been far better placed within an update RNS. And, in fact, should have been.

I may be pretty ignorant in my old age, but as it is Zioc - and I have spent the last ten years trying unsuccessfully to speculate what Zioc's intentions actually are - I have no idea what their purpose is.

I have always felt their aim was to develope rather than sell, and the podcast only affirms that. But I just do not understand the purpose and timing of the podcast, which came very close to revealing market sensitive information and can only have a negative effect on the share price.

Maybe that was the intention. If so, it sails very close to market manipulation for whichever connected party ends up benefiting from a lower share price.

We have been saying for years though that Zioc have a cunning plan, and the long silences were because they were working on things that they could not reveal. I can't make up my mind if that is actually true, or they are all incompetent.

As Extrader says, Marty is very close to having revealed market sensitive information in that podcast that should only have been released as part of an RNS. Incompetent or deliberate?

I guess the next RNS will reveal more, but unless they announce financing for the FEED stage and explain in more detail the Marty announcement that a construction decision will only be made after the FEED stage is completed, the share price will hit new lows.

As regards a low ball offer, I'd take 20p a share just to get on with what is left of my life.

And MM has disappeared - last post a week ago.

Maybe he got wind of this podcast and realised much of the optimism he was posting was unfounded.

If that timescale is announced officially in the next RNS, I doubt if we will see any share price rise. More likely a decline.

AIM investors just don't have that level of patience, and its small investors that drive the Zioc share price.

Even bringing in a financial partner for the FEED stage will have little effect if this is accurate:-

I'm with Extrader on this.

I very much appreciate MM's research, which I fully understand is the result of many hours work. However its the conclusions sometimes reached from that research that I find galling.

There has been mention of SA, Brazil, Russia, the UAE, and several other countries. There have been mention of other major mining companies. All total speculation, but many have been presented as information rather than speculation.

The only definite link we have is with China, and that Glencore still control this project by their retention of the ore distribution rights. Everything else is the type of join-the-dots fantasy we have been seeing for far too many years.

If your much appreciated research and the conclusions you draw from that research is questioned MM, please do not get in a huff. We all have the same end game here. The only issue for many is if they live long enough to see that end game!

If we do live lomg enough, we will all find out who was on the correct track with their posts.

There is a Steven Herring who is a South African property billionaire. No idea if it is him. There are several Kippax Property Holdings Ltd registered around the world, include one in Jersey and one in (I think) Australia.

Would be interesting to know when they bought into KP2, but as their holdings are less than 5% neither have had to file a TR1.

Mitch has actually been a shareholder in KP2 for over six years because he recognised the huge potential of KP2 many years ago. However he has also had to sit through years of a dead weight CEO until the CEO was fired last year for too long of sitting on his backside drawing his salary while doing nothing to advance the company.

You are clearly a newcomer to KP2 - and I congratulate you on that as its a great time to buy in. However you should not criticise long term shareholders who bought in many years ago and are not therefore in the same position as you - just because you have suddenly discouvered KP2.

And I am not bearish. KP2 is close to finally taking off. All I was saying was that the recent share price rise is pure small investor speculation. Until we get an RSN about a financial partner, nothing is yet certain. Longer term shareholders have seen this type of rise many times before. However we are also closer to a partner than we ever have been, so there is hopefully more substance to the rise than there ever has been too.

I think we have to be realistic here Jiving. We have no concrete evidence that SA are interested at all. We have the spurious links from MM over on the other board, but that is all. Even AT's comment at the Saudie conference last year that he would be back in SA "soon" was interpreted as being a link between Zioc and SA - yet AT made that comment in a speech where he was representing Vision Blue, and he was in fact referring to VB being back in SA soon!

Don't get me wrong. I would love the middle east to get involved in Zioc, but the far east are in the driving seat because of their work on costings. And that concerns me a little, because China moves so slowly in any mining project they get involved in.

I'm a bit like Beardozer. Due to old age, I'm running out of patience. I've endured many many years of comments along the lines that no concrete news means that something must be happenning behind the scenes - when in fact nothing was happenning. That was unfortunately the impression I got from MK's interview. Deja vu. "We are talking to interested parties" ... just like the last ten years in fact.

I just hope my disillusioned attitude is completely wide of the mark, and I will soon be proved to be a complete and utter pessimistic a.....e!

Long term holders like me are not excited at all as yet. This share was in the 8p-12p range six years ago, so for many holders the current 2p doesn't mean a great deal.

Remember too that this is AIM. Any AIM share that manages to get in the top ten risers on any particular day attracts a host of day traders - who then lock in their 10% profit by selling a few days later.

Having said that, there is definitely something coming up in the next month as regards a financial partner. Its long overdue. But until then, the rise is purely related to small investor speculation. If signing a financing agreement is delayed by a few months, the share price will drop again.

On the other sid ethough, once iot is signed and if you are willing to hold on for another 2 years or so, then 10p+ is probably a realistic possibility.

On the surface the video again emphasises the huge potential, and confirms the main interest seems to be from the Far East - rather than MM's constant mention of theoretical links to the Middle East.

Long term investors will have seen this sort of video before though. Yes, we are closer than we were in the days of similar AT videos, but I still think we have a way to go yet.

Even if Zioc finds a preferred strategic investor, that investor still has to do a deal with Glencore on the ore. And that will not be an easy or short process.

Even though I agree that the current share price is unrealistically low, it does accurately reflect where Zioc is currently at. A fully costed project with nobody rushing in to finance it - exactly where we were ten years ago!
