Talking in onomatopoeic terms this sounds rather more like a plop than a boom right now.
On the one hand we have the SYME faithful telling us take off is imminent and on the other the SYME board are employing an independent advisor to get them on the right path , the two propositions seem somewhat incongruous in my humble opinion.
...and just for the avoidance of doubt I AM invested albeit to a modest amount , I won't sell , would be pointless to do so now and I am very much hoping for a positive outcome.

something isn't done about the rate at which posts are disappearing , one would have to question whether or not this board is fit for purpose.

This board is indeed toxic in the extreme but that is easily remedied by using the filter option.
It's not only trolls that get filed in the green bin but there is a little gang of girl guides who will instantly jump on anyone who expresses any frustration or dissent of any kind ; again , this is easily resolved by rubbing them out with the filter button...
