Maybe the sudden Novacyt price rise and increased dealing over the past two days has more to do with our news this morning?

I have received en email from II regarding the corporate action needed for the bookbuild. When I accessed this on their website it said the £300 minimum subscription equates to 1000 shares. Is this a mistake? I make it 100,000.

It's the highest price paid by the person offering in the previous 12 months not the highest price

...but if company policy and leadership is decided on how many votes (or ticks) an opinion on here garners and everything is all 100% known all the time maybe we could all give up using our money speculatively to chase gains and settle for a high interest account somewhere?

I was thinking exactly the same - one doesn't have to fail for the other to succeed and any attempt to de-ramp either just serves to scare small investors, like the majority of us on here, into taking a loss rather than a potential profit. To call this childish would be insulting, I would be ashamed if my children behaved like this.
