Duck egg - I think I said words to that effect approx 3 hours ago but Calamari seems to want to gloss over.......
Calamari - are you suggesting the BOD should withhold information that could “materially effect” the share price of a company?
Whether that effect is the the share price rising, falling or doing nothing Is irrelevant in my opinion.
Absolutely spot on ffcmember. Surely this offer of funding had to be released via RNS as it could materially have an effect on the share price.
The fact that it wasn’t is my biggest bone of contention.
I am now about to exit never to return to single company investing- I leave £20k down - not life changing for me but a big enough dent.I still believe my judgement in the project was correct. My mistake was my judgement in the BOD to deliver it!!
I wish you all the best with taking collective further action but fear the “system” is against you.
The mine will be built and will be a huge success in time and will also be rolled out no doubt by our government as a great British success story........
Thanks Myo
Appreciate your reply
Evening Myo
One thing that I am struggling to understand - I would be grateful if you could help me with you being by far the most knowledgeable poster on here regarding the tech aspects of this project.
As the TBM advances towards Lockwood how is the spoil conveyor lengthened to ensure spoil is delivered to the surface at Wilton? Do they just add another conveyor section? Does this mean the spoil conveyor will be 8 miles long by the time it gets to Lockwood beck?
If it is in sections was it not possible during planning to fit out the MTS both to act as The spoil removal conveyor for the TBM and then also act as the final conveyor system for or the mined poly? Or am I totally lacking in understanding?
Northernisler- when do we get planning for the next hole??. It will have to be quick.......
Thanks Myo- I just knew you would come good as usual. The most informed contributor on the board!
Northernisler- ??
Forgive my ignorance but has anybody got any useful links regarding specifically the plan for the huge amounts of spoilage from the mts boring. 36km worth is an awful lot of muck to deal with!
Thanks in advance
The port is capable of handling capesize vessels usually between 150,000 and 200,000 Dwt I believe.
So called because they had to transit globally via the cape and too large for the Suez Canal. Recent alterations to the Suez Canal I think now means some are capable of transiting via this route.
Think this is the case but happy to be corrected..
But as they say please do your own research- there are plenty of great presentations and videos on the Sirius website,
Good luck
Hi Bertos
Still not too late to jump onboard!
Significant news flow and upside to come from this point.
Can’t help but feel this Sxx is still under the radar regarding the wider audience
At an average output of 27,000 tonnes/day that’s an awful lot of big bags.
Never an option for a project on this scale...
Add to that...
10 m tonnes/ yr to start
27,0000 tonnes/day
1100 tonnes/hour
20 tonnes/min
At least 50 yrs mine life
Plan to double output in time,
The sheer scale of this project is truly mind blowing.
Something the UK in time will be proud of on a world class scale
Difficult to know how positive the news is without any numbers. I feel with a bit better PR and with well written announcements this could do so much better. Still under the radar for many.
Due diligence?? El Limon?!!!
we will see some more large delayed buys here today
