I’ve done some fact checking:
Nobody cares what your opinion is…fact!
"I don't like what scot126 is saying here. I've got a bad feeling he knows what he's talking about. …”
You got the first part right at least. Now run along Scott.

The more you post, the more you expose your ignorance.
Let me help educate you a little:
First of all, exploration drilling is a bit like that old game, Minesweeper…you start off essentially making educated guesses and in doing so you start to gather more information which allows the guesses to become more and more educated. At some point in the game you know exactly where everything is. That’s where 88e are right now.
This is the first 88e well that is not a wildcard well. This drill is for appraisal. They know it’s there. Following the wire logs they know have a very good idea how much is there. The last (small) part of the process is to test how well that abundance of oil will flow.
Incidentally, none of the previous drills were dusters. They discovered plenty of oil but due to porosity and well locations, it would not have made commercial sense to extract it.
Please do a bit more reading before you embarrass yourself anymore.
Scot
You really are a prime dipsht.
No, I don’t think that share price = market cap, and I’m sure pretty much everyone on here doesn’t think that either.
I’ve tried to read your posts with an open mind but I’ve had all I can stomach now of your (incredibly elongated and draaaawn out) BS.
Your posts shall from now on appear as an empty green box on my feed…just like they appear to everyone on the PANR board. Goodbye
Yes, we all know that PANR are further along the process. That’s why Pantheon share price is higher (currently).
88e didn’t drill the KUP (yet) because they didn’t need to. There was enough black stuff higher up. Don’t pretend like you’re a fortune-teller (that was always the plan dumbass).
And how do you figure 7-9x more oil next door? PANR has a large area of SMB-D reservoir and a large area of the BFF Seabee play. 88e has a large area containing layered plays (x8).
Stop acting so F***ing bitter because not only did you back the wrong horse but you lost a lot of people a lot of money on PANR (including me)!
Personally (and I’ve been wrong before), I think DC is too legally sharp to allow a low-value takeover whilst he’s not looking.
Far mor likely for the company to prove actual value and then to broker a buyout, either of the whole group or of the individual companies.
In my humble opinion I think we will see a steady rise in SP into the Summer and then possibly organised buyout news after a few of the KFLEX events have happened.
I don’t think anything drastic will happen for a few months.
Neil, by value I meant SP.
At this stage, I don’t think the SP of each company is going to move in different directions. I believe both companies will be successful and the SP of both (and therefore market cap) will increase. The way some are talking on here, 88 SP will only increase if PANR fails and vice versa.
In fact, the opposite is true.
I would insert a benign analogy here…but that would be patronising, wouldn’t it.
Hamspring, I’ve filtered him now too.
There seems to be an awful lot of “us vs them” talk on both boards lately. This competitiveness seems a bit ridiculous to me.
Because if Pantheon is successful it will boost 88s value and if 88 doesn’t have oil then Pantheon also doesn’t have what they think they do.
They will either both be successful or they will both fail.
So to argue and fight each other seems a little silly to me.
Let’s hope both projects are successful. They would make a great package deal for a buyout. ;-)
