Anyone know much about proceedings at KCM. Seems Vedanta, zccm and IRH are locked in talks? Possible spin offs for Jubilee?

Gray, surely it is going to depend on the speed of expansion. Whilst profits will be rising nicely. Expansion will still be limited to those profits. Leon has openly stated the best way to protect our IP is by early market share. First mover advantage. Secure the best opportunities and let the market scrap over the rest, when they catch up. Initially OB1 is a £50M project. Partnerships to cover the big projects and cash flow to cover the smaller projects is my assumption, for the first few years anyway. Then full self funding may be on the table.

Dorf, absolutely. The deal is great for both parties. I think most if not all on here, would have moved heaven and earth, to make that happen before it was announced. The longevity of production is incredible.

Hoke, Jubilee is invoicing for work undertaken, which is likely to increase the revenue almost 50%. Its no secret, Leon has said they are very likely to increase on the original 4 planned modules and he was talking in multiples of 4- 4, 8, 12! They have targeted 50 small licences, with 3 already in the bag including M snd 2 very close, i believe. So yes i would agree 60k tonnes would be disappointing in 3 years time.

Hoke, 30-44% of a very likely 50k tonnes per annum in 2-3 years from the joint venture is still very profitable. You just cant dismiss that production, because Jubilee only receive circa 44%! I personally find the prospect of this very exciting. I further believe there will be more joint ventures with IRH.

Hi Sprint, its hypothetical, but i believe entirely possible. For the copper price to increase and Jubilee to be producing 100,000 tonnes of copper in 2-3 years. I believe the Abu Dhabi partnership is set to produce at least 50k tonnes per year as intimated by leon. Even at this rate its probably going to take over 50 years to process. I believe Leon has even suggested 12 modules there, might be possible. There is plenty of capacity at Mopani to support 12 modules. Roan and Sable are expected to produce circa 25k tonnes per year between a combination of cathode and copper in solution. So that leaves potential for another 25k tonnes per year, unless of course they elect to put 12 modules on the waste rock project, which will produce them. So my base case is 50k tonnes from the partnership. I am very optimistic that the small mine potential will be developed and fill the other 25k tonnes over the next 2-3 years. After all they have identified 50 licence’s.

Hey guys, copper at $12,500 a ton. 100, 000 tonnes per year production and the valuation here will be off the scale. Whats more, i can see that becoming reality in 2-3 years! Lets hope the price of copper stays sensible and everyone here will be rewarded beyond belief!

“The expansion of Jubilee's Roan copper concentrator (Project Roan) is set to deliver increased production during the current quarter targeting an annual capacity of 13 000 tonnes per annum of copper. Project Roan has experienced a 6 week delay in the delivery of the final electrical components. This will impact the completion of the commissioning of the final circuits and based on the latest delivery schedules, the team is set to conclude assembly and commissioning by the end of May 2024.”

I dont think we are going to hear potentially until the beginning of June. Hopefully the last few days of agony on a much awaited adventure, that will set this share alight!

3CB. Where is the 20p sweet spot this time? With 25k tonnes of copper on the cards between Roan and Sable. Earnings could be in ghe $75-100M range. With the new chrome deal hinted at for next year, chrome earnings could be approaching $100M. Then of course there’s the IRH deal. 20p looks decidedly dwarfed against those numbers.

Always going to be periods of share consolidation, especially when the share price is rising. Dont need a chart for that! Very interesting on IG, i can sell for fractionally more than i can buy at.
