What a strange shareprice Vodafone is - sale of Hungarian arm confirmed with money been used to pay down debt and down the shareprice goes . Seems nothing Vodafone does is going to please the market .

Well - finish the year as it has been the majority of 2022 - DOWN - lets hope 2023 is a better year and they get somebody in who actually knows what they are doing . Its getting a bit of a yearly occurrence finishing lower each year . Happy New Year everybody .

Have to say I sold out yesterday - far too much uncertainty at the moment and the articles in the papers are damming. I will keep my eyes on it and wish everybody all the best - unfortunatley Read has done the damage and it is going to take a hell of a lot to turn this around .

JPMorgan places Vodafone on 'negative catalyst watch', cuts price target to 97 (100) pence - 'neutral'

Here comes the last 1hr drop - looks like we could finish below 88p . What a complete disaster of a company caused by Read and the BOD . No doubt he will just move on with a nice little package and leave the shareholders sitting on massive losses .

How did anybody know we would get our wish - he had managed to pull the wool over peoples eyes for 4 years . I have no problem in buying when I did - its just going to be many months/years to get this company back to a reasonable value

And you think it will automatically transform share price as if by magic . Whoever comes in is going to have to try and unpick the damage Read has done - until that happens or at least the markets see somebody has a hold on the debt etc the price will likely continue dropping .

Well the ftse is in positive territory nicely this morning - I think the Vodafone share price yet again shows what the markets think .
