As frustrating as it may be that the share price is low, I don't get the knee jerk reactions stating changing the BOD will somehow fix this. Being objective and looking beyond "omg the sky is falling in" type response, isn't this 'TEXTBOOK' orphan phase of a mining discovery and beyind? Yes PFS pushed back a bit but that is why feasibility has a range in terms of years, not months.

Hi Smith_trader,
seeing as you mention Steve Irwin, an interview a few months back from Steve consistently refers to Solgold and states it has "Not a lot of froth in it and is super duper cheap".
He certainly has the history and credibility , quite worth a watch (apologies if it has already been posted before).

@Novice Hunter .. lol, made me laugh...
On a separate note : Most will agree with the consensus the Motley Fool is as contradictory as a Cheetah chasing a Gazelle to the local Vegan food market ... they have posted an article today which may encourage slightly more PI interest as it suggests it will still continue to rise.

Interesting... states it applies a 80% weighting to Cascabel value based on other take out values per tonne to get to the £1.07p per share target, which is sensible but states it would be £1.30p without applying the risk adverse reduction.
Also then states it applies £75million for the other assets in Cascabel, so can only assume that the £1.07p value only really applies to Cascabel.
If Tam also gets proved up to be of similar size, does that add another £1 of value per share on top?
Add to that the other consessions, the long term value quite honestly is mind boggling as to what it could be.
I wouldn't say NOTHING to be gained by going to production, very binary don't you think?
More accurately, there is SIGNIFICANT amounts to be gained, however it is extremely HIGH RISK with HIGH PROBABILITY of failure. That statement I would agree with...
I don't have a crystal ball as none of us do however, so will hope for a takeover offer at a very good price, if not may hedge my bets and sell at various target prices along the way :-)
Good point re investing in a major now however, on balance I expect this to be bought out so may start looking at BHP again also.
Hi Risehall,
Yes agree looks like it has picked up a bit of interest and looks like 30p has just been broken. Those of us that have been here some for sometime can probably recall numerous catalysts that accelerate the share price and (not wanting to ramp), I hope this may be one of them.
Personally I hold quite a few in my pension, these I expect in 5-10 years to be many, many multiples of this price and long term paying annual dividends equivalent (or more) to my investment today. I also hold smaller amount which I range trade occasionally within an ISA.
Of course many will state the obvious that this may not go to production, Solgold will run out of cash, may not have the grades, political risk etc . I am aware of these risks, and is my choice to risk money which I can afford to lose.
Taking a step back, and for those maybe new to this board, I like ColonelDrake's post from around 9:42 this morning showing the sheer potential of this. BHP invested in this at around 40p, that was based on Alpala drilling results only which looked (at the time ) to be proving up a Tier 1 resource. Solgold have dozens of similar areas which they hold the rights to explore, all with potential. Probably a dozen or less are of real interest and potential to be as big or bigger than Alpala, so each resource (putting a very crude calculation on it) could potentially add 40p worth of value to the share price.
It now looks like this is possibly the third large major resource as a discovery in the making and IMO there is so much room to continue with substantial share price increases ahead of us.
Added to that, towards the end of the year, another milestone for Alpala will be reached which will be a definitive report assessing the viability and plan to take this to production.
If any of these go to production, it could well be the start of Solgol being a Major in the making so exciting times ahead.
Back to the RNS driving this, I like the fact they have bundled a number of holes together and explains the news blackout, whilst the grades are less than stellar, they are still at the start of drilling when you compare to what Alpala has drilled so far so hopefully more to come as well.
Thanks Quady,
I think we are probably saying the same thing, initially my reaction was CU grades were pretty low. CU Eq tell a better story in some holes but not necessarily worried about grades as similar to Alpala this is all about as you say, overall feasibility and viability.
If they continue to expand this resource it could indeed become a third Tier 1 type deposit as ColonelDrake puts very well below.
More importantly, I think it has created a bit of buzz and excitement which I hope translates to the share price :-)
Thanks Quady
was however refering to the PDF RNS which includes Cu | AU + CuEq in a table (page 4) which clearly brakes them down.

What does everybody think of the grades?
At first glance, I thought they were less than stellar, but Alpala was similar with the sheer size and depth making up for ultra high grades. However what I noticed that appears to be different to Alpala that the Gold grades either match or exceed the copper grades for most of the drill results.
Interesting indeed!

The bunch of fools seem to have Solg on the radar.

I think somebody else posted m ntioned hole 64 but around 15mins in to the last presentation, NM mentioned "we appear to have hit another core with Hole 64 with which my mind boggles". Look back at the latest RNS and there is reference of hole 64 that still shows drill hole pending so clearly this is hot off the press info. Also, look how far away hole 64 is north from the rest of the holes... Combine a "new core" with the large step out of the alpala target and this could be very significant by itself.
