The Iamgold update on May the 5th, there will hopefully be something in there about mine construction at Boto. They do have job positions advertised for it!
A rise to the 5th would be nice, although I don't see it. Hopefully that update can kick-start us onto later in the month when the ORR management sign of on there share for salary agreement. (They wont want the price high until they get their shares first.)

Top tier miners don't take chances on exploration plays. They let the little guys do the hard work and prove up as much as they can possibly afford to.
Then when its been de-risked substantially, they sweep in and take a large slice for a pittance. just like at HAV. The little guy makes his money by selling his minority stake at a substantially higher price than was paid for the majority stake.

Newcrest are not explorers and Greatland are not miners.

Thats kind of how the whole thing works, fairly obvious i would have thought.

Same goes for ORR, ECR, COBR etc. etc.

Any O&G explorer on the mainland UK and even the majority of those offshore, are complete pump and dump crap.

They are for gamblers chasing spikes, some get lucky (and its just that, luck) others lose their ar$e!

I think we all understand that the AIM is a very difficult place to invest, in reality we are all speculating (there is a huge difference). But some of these are just gambling, plain and simple!

There has been some good discussion on this board the last few days with some very insightful input.

It really is a pity we have a few interrupting it with a series of petty, childish responses dragging the whole board down with their tabloid'esque trash talking.

I wouldn't read to much into the photos as we don't know when they were taken. All we can take from them is that drilling is progressing fine and that they were running casing on the day, which explains all the stacked pipe. Plenty more pipe also laid out in the rack on the ground, this could be drilling or production pipe. All very positive anyway!

I might buy a few more at this stage!

Fundy liked this one when there was little or no news, and poor PR, made it so easy to speculate and talk random crap. I get the feeling hes not impressed with the RNS setting out a programme for WH and even more so by their new Twitter account. He'll be sick if they start showing photos of gear arriving at WH and the rig going up!

They dont drill overnight...

The price is very much in danger of dropping more. There needs to be a positive update on the rig i.e. its currently on route etc. or this could go sub 5p.<br /><br />If the drill is postponed, prepare to take a hammering or patiently wait until April/May next year.
