Is innotrans 2014. We went, not that anyone here would have known if we didn't find out ourselves, and we haven't heard a sniff of news. No chance we went there and didn't make a deal with someone.

We will see what happens. Sentiment always dips on radio silence. If they announced a couple of whopping contracts we would all be singing praises again. Any thoughts on the fact they mention acquisitions ....

I am in the dark as much as you with that one. I would have thought that there would have been a director buy by Paul Negus by now, but I'm sure if he is privy to insider information he is surely forbidden to buy. Then we have the peel hunt 10% scenario. Who knows what is going on but I'd like a bit more info on it as I'm sure everyone else would too. FYI I would accept a takeover at 30p ;)

Costings

Petards used to do a monthly newsletter. It has stopped for some reason. I'm actually quite annoyed that according to the MOD in the public tender documents, they have now awarded/extended petards 2 contracts, neither of which have been mentioned in any kind of RNS. The contract values of both combined add up to over £10m. Even if there is a slight variation in coatings, these things need to be communicated with the shareholders. £5m Mcap is the first hurdle I'm looking at.

There will be an update on strategy followed by a fundraising. They will want a lot of money backing these ventures. I can see them raising £10-15m initially. Boom time for the guys who get in at £1m mcap.

Baffles me mate. The last one that had a potential contract value of £9m, they just brushed off and said "oh yeh that was mentioned briefly in the interims." This one is IMHO is worth an Rns. Why they wouldn't want to inform their investors about a continuing strong relationship with the mod is beyond me. The tender even states reasons why petards are the only ones they will consider using. Colour me baffled. Atb

Not a massive contract amount but it is 1/3 of the mcap at the moment. The additional CMDS are required by MOD in addition to existing in-service equipment and must be procured directly from Petards.
