Does anybody know how long this forum will stay open now that trading has been officially cancelled?
Cancel that - just received a reply to my e mail. Efficient as ever !
I have had my account verified but have not received info about the revised date for the shareholders meeting.
Thanks Andy. I look forward to hearing more once you have ascertained whether or not your legal advisor thinks that it is a viable action with a good chance of success.
Andy. Does the cost of a class action increase with the number of people taking the action (fixed fee per head) or is it a fixed overall fee which would then result in a lower cost per head if many people sign up to the action?
It has been said many times that the BOD is always one step ahead and we need to act swiftly. Both valid points. Our problem is that our discussions are very public and visible to the BOD, who I am sure watch this page and are perhaps registered on the BHR Investors site. Anyone with an e mail address can register there. Where could we discuss in private? Should our website be password protected?
There is an entry on the BHR Investors site saying that details of costs for the class action will be posted there when known. At the moment legal advise is being sought to ascertain whether it is worth pursuing.
I am in the same position as you DenJay. Same loss and same average. We must have been averaging down together. Anything that we can salvage will be a bonus.
It reads very well indeed - congratulations for making this scandal more public
If they moved the MML asset off the BHR balance sheet without telling shareholders this is falsification of accounts. Shareholders invested in the mine and its potential and financed the PLC to get it into production with a wash plant and rail asset
I agree - look at what overseas investors in the far East have paid for a share of our neighbours' mines. 0.15 is not a realistic price IMO. With the increased rail capacity we are worth more.
Is there an AIM limit or regulation for how long a company can remain suspended without giving a reason?
Don't think so - think it is broken as it does not flash very often
Maybe but they are not spending their time replying to shareholders interested in funding the company. Should they not be considering all offers? It's their job to get the best deal for the shareholders.
Not sure why they have not taken it into administration yet. We know we have no money left after this week. Just draining the last few pennies out of the company or tidying up the files before the independent eyes of the administrator take a look? Disgusting that we have not even been told why we have been suspended for nearly a month!
Heard that the spoon was made of coal, not wood. The BOD tried to wash it, but had forgotten that they had not finished the wash plant. Then they tried to sell it, but had forgotten that they were not selling coal so had no customer for it. Then they offered it to Vitol for $10 who told them they wanted 10 mines for that price!
I see what you are saying. The S Africa bit is false (I believe the HQ is in Canada with offices in the UK - used to be TD Waterhouse) but he got the SP bit right so brownie points for that! - not a total wind up.
TD Direct is based in Leeds and Manchester. They show the BHR SP at 23.4p - may be a default price for a suspended company.
I use TD Direct. It's been like it for days now - I'm up 1063.67% on BHR!. It shows 0.3 until 08.15 then changes to 23.4p / share for the rest of the day.
I totally agree with you. I am down £77k so am not condoning the actions of the BOD who have behaved immorally and not at all in our interests. My point was that they may not have infringed any AIM regulations and probably checked these first before acting.
