Seingred, yes I do mean zijin
Abrdn plc, Hargreaves Lansdown PLC both still I presume own 18% of Omi Lloyds Banking Group 5% Newmont 14%,
Even though Newmont no longer want to be in Columbia many more JV’s do and continue to operate witin this area. Newmont would not hand on to there 14% if Omi had nothing to offer. They are specifically here for the long term play within Mid-Cauca belt of northern Colombia. I think Omi need to update there website to include current information.
Doc’s right, Why would Newmont buy OMI out when they want no liabilities in Colombia. Johnstoneo you need to not only start reading Omi’s previous RNS but also research other companies we have and still are dealing with in Columbia. Some of the comments on here don’t make any sense what so ever.
Why keep slating Omi when you are invested so highly. Its almost as if you want your remaining investment to go up in flames… there is no logic to that.
I lost a lot on the first round of Omi when they were at 25 right down to around 6. I wasn’t on here daily moaning like an old woman. We all make mistakes. Lets hope we get some better results within the coming months otherwise why the hell stay here. This is my second round here and I believe with all the information I have gathered over the years that this is the right time for Omi. It’s going to be rocky but that’s life. Stay or leave but stop Bl..dy moaning.
