why a pound in a week?

One possible scenario: If this gets delisted, & has to be traded on Russian-exchange, the divi's will be subject to Russian withholding tax.
It's anyone's guess what that might be.
you need to be holding on (or before) ex-div date, which is 10-Mar. It's paid on the 30th, maybe......
I/I will still quote for a buy order @ £10k
I meant in a general sense, ie anyone who is seen as a supporter / "funder" of Putin & his regime should have their assets either frozen or seized IMO.
If he's a Putin supporter, his assets should be seized, why is he allowed to sell?
I/Iis still accepting buy orders.
Auson,
As I said below, if they get delisted & only trade on Russian exchange, the div's would be subject to withholding tax there. With their inflation going crazy, that could be a huge deduction.
From European markets, highly possible.
They would then be listed on Russian exchange, divis could be paid but subject to Russian withholding tax.
& one is in serious danger of being delisted, hmmmm
Hi Tigra,
Good call. I'm just trying to warn folks to be very careful, & not get burned, when the temptation of easy / huge gains exist. The divi is still subject to s/holder approval, & it may be that it's decided it's in the best interests of the co at that time not to pay it, but we're all guessing here.
Good luck.
your maths may be right, but as I said, extremely unlikely this divi will actually be paid out.
absolutely no guarantee it will be paid out though, so assume zero divi for now.
unless you are accepting the fact that you could lose it all. This is a very high-risk gamble.
Be careful out there.....
