Where a commons defeat looks certain after Mrs May reneged on her concessions, made last week to the Tory rebels, to defeat a Lords amendment on the Brexit withdrawal bill. The concessions made by Mrs May were that Parliament should have a meaning vote on any "no deal" outcome. That has been deliberately changed to ..... Savannah Petroleum I wasn’t going to mention SAVP today but I have just listened to the retail investors conference call at which CEO Andrew Knott gave a really good analysis of where the company is right now. In addition he fielded a number of most interesting questions and gave cracking answers. With two from Two in Niger and the Seven deal closer to closing the shares should be much higher.

There is little expectation the Bank of England will increase interest rates when it meets next Thursday (21 June) after two recent key releases revealed some worrying signs for the UK economy.
