LSE sent me a link so I can use and report problems/views on their new replacement website
There is lots of big changes and will take several days to get to grips with them all
One BIG positive is that share prices are automatically continuously updated

Today, Osman Shahenshah and Shahid Ullah received a total of 30 years for fraud and money laundering offences they had committed whilst they were CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Afren Plc.

The men were found guilty at trial earlier this month for a scheme they created to profit from business deals Afren made with its Nigerian oil partners, without the knowledge of Afren’s board of directors.

Shahenshah and Ullah laundered more than $45m from a $300m deal they recommended to Afren, using their illicit proceeds to purchase luxury properties in the Caribbean.

Sentencing Shahenshah, His Honour Judge Gledhill QC said:

“You believed that you were above the law, you believed that you were so clever that no one would ever discover your offending.”

Shares have dropped a bit in the current markets...but announced today an acquisition.....

Boohoo has acquired the IP of fellow fast fashion etailer MissPap after the etailer fell into liquidation.
MissPap was founded in 2014 by Ashley Ali.

Boohoo group chief executive John Lyttle said: “MissPap is a brand with great potential, which can leverage the group’s expertise. This acquisition further strengthens our multi-brand platform, representing an exciting opportunity to accelerate our offering to our ever-growing range of customers globally.”
