$3000 gold would make for a tasty share price as long as costs can be controlled. If AISC can be kept at $1000 or under then it’s happy days for the share price.

Google shows 24 PE for Northern Star. So using 10 as I have is a good conservative view we hope that will be much exceeded. Sadly no revenue until 2025 however if GGP can indicate to the market what they expect Havieron to produce then the SP can reflect it. The FS is important for that pricing mechanism.

Sandgrounded I look beyond the resource update and focus on production. Copy and past from a prior post:

My target SP range at USD$2,000 gold is 15p to 22p.

My target SP range at USD$2,500 gold is 22p to 33p.

My target SP range at USD$3,000 gold is 29p to 44p.

All based on:

(1) AISC of $1,000

(2) a PE of 10

(3) annual production profiles of 300,000pa, 350,000pa, 400,000pa and 450,000pa.... GGP is entitled to 30%

Just listened to this and read some of the comments. We are seeing a lot of commentary online about gold going to $2500, $3000 and even $3500 next year. Even if we take $2500 to be conservative the impact on GGPs share price has to be positive, I expect a double at least from here, so back to the 20’s (pence) once again. Been a crappy 3 years so 2024 is the year we’ve patiently been waiting for.

I recall Shaun reiterating the resource update will be the December quarter, so before I suspect. He has stated as such in numerous recent video interviews. Hopefully it’s a decent uplift of 50%.

A great MRE may convince Newmont to keep Telfer plus Havieron. And if we can keep the 'company maker' 30% that will produce cashflows of approx $100mill per annum once up and running, what's not to like!! :-)

Newmont have the massive deep pockets from their global operations. Having them fund the CAPEX is a blessing. We just have to fund our 30% and then watch the cash roll in each year.

Both JV partners access the same data for Havieron. So I don't follow the logic of GGP not just declaring the factual MRE based on the data they have. Newmont is the largest gold company so unsure why we expect them to be stupid and not know what they have at Hav, since they own 70% of it and are primarily funding the bulk of the costs as well.
