Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
"Eg...if you receive the samples, will you release an RNS? If the samples are tested and found to be good, will you release an RNS? Etc etc."
I very much doubt that they will announce either the samples being received or the outcome of the test. QFI are doing work of a highly sensitive nature for a third party; why on earth would the third party allow them to announce the progress or outcome?
What am I missing? How did Indigo2015 manage to respond to Alcasey's post 2 minutes BEFORE Alcasey had posted?
Did I miss a post that has now been removed?
Good find Salinger. I agree it is indeed interesting. I also think the "We currently supply . . . ." is somewhat questionable.
Tuckman. "However how many ships do MSC have that could use our product?"
MSC have c. 560 container vessels of which approximately 40% have EGCSs. Of these, say, only half are suitable - through age or design - which would leave 100+ with the potential to use MSAR/ bioMSAR.
If you look at slide 10 of this presentation: https://www.investormeetcompany.com/investor/meeting/update-meeting (at approx 10mins) there's a wealth of information that will give you a good steer as to the potential here.
Wonga, I go back to the first half of the last century, so understand entirely!

Hi Wonga, at the risk of being called a pedant, could I ask that we try to keep to a single thread for each topic? Earlier today there were 5 threads for "This is nice", all opened by you I think. This afternoon you've opened a second thread for "Myles McNulty". If you go to the bottom of any thread entry there's a "reply" button that will keep all the comments relating to a single topic in the same thread.
Cheers, MP
Not sure I understand you Scallywag. You should have received 8.571% of your "Excess" application and a refund equal to 91.429% of application @ 2.7p.
I'm with EQi and have been allocated 23.95% of my Excess application rather than 8.571%. Very odd and probably a ****up - but I'm certainly not complaining!
This https://markets.ft.com/data/funds/tearsheet/charts?s=GB00B8L6HK14:GBP would seem to fit bill Wonga. Up 180% in the last year.
Codejunkie
If, as I assume, you're referring to the "Excess" portion of the OO, I don't quite see how HL can possibly have allocated you 50k when the relevant RNS hasn't yet been issued. None the less, I hope you get all you want!!

Quidity
From "Expected Timetable of Principal Events"
"Expected date of announcement of the results of the Open Offer - 22 March 2020"
So, hopefully, we'll know the outcome later today!
"We are discussing the relative amount of excess available. I followed up with the example of a single share for that very reason. You know that, you read it. Why would you lie about my motives and disparage me on purpose? I won't stand for that, I've reported your post and followed up with an email."
What on earth???
"Me thinks he doth protest too much!"
Indigo2015
"He only asked for 20,000 shares. 500 quid's worth. He got a tiny amount of excess"
That comes across as quite arrogant. £500 may be a "tiny amount" to you but not to everyone on here. Or it maybe that he is already heavily invested here and doesn't want too much more exposure.

Both my "Open Offer" and my "Excess" applications have, on the face of it, been settled in full. However, I understand that it is common practice of Brokers to process all applications to "lock in" the payments and thereby avoid being landed with shares the customer is unable to settle.
In any event, the "Expected date of announcement of the results of the Open Offer" is tomorrow, 22 March. So we MAY hear tomorrow!

How do you arrive at those dates H14?
