Well, they went up, albeit a spikey like. Generally the betting companies have done well, and SPO has lagged behind them like a lost puppy or an older dog that the pack doesn't want anymore. As I said a few months ago, would like to chat when they get to a pound. I'll snd you a crate of your favourite tipple if it happens.
Yeh, that's a mystery to me too.Where on earth is that info?
A buy out of an Israeli company in the field Simigon opérate in? Well, that would be news.
Hi Slipperslope, I recently wrote an article on the history of the pizza. Did you know that the Margherita pizza was made specially for Queen Margherita of Italy around 1889. It wasn't called that when they gave it to her. They named it after her because she liked it so much. That's not investment advice, by the way.
are a very interesting company and the only one I hold that is in the same business that I'm in. They do have ii interest and participation. If tne aquisitions gel well and make money this could look good. Judging by the rise there could be a few drops as people reposition . There always is.
Hello Checkmate. I think the jury is still out on the benefits of stop losses. They would have worked for me half of the time, and the other half they would have closed me out on a sustained rise after a smallish drop. With Mcs the hint of a dividend may have actually had a short term negative effect. If you're going to offer a dividend, you'd like the yeild to be attractive. At 270 odd, it might not have looked that attractive but back down at 2.00 it could look very generous. Just a thought, I could be wrong. I am 50% of the time. I just need to be right 51% of the time!
I think you're right about that. The offer was around that last Tuesday. Interest being generated.
appointment did make more sense than the bikini designer. The virtual classroom idea is in its infancy but the potential is huge. Not so good for me though, I'm a teacher! Then again, they would need someone to write the input for the software. I'm underwater here but I don't feel too uncomfortable about it. They aren't in debt, they haven't issued barrel loads of shares and they have some money in the bank.
Was it a good netball match? More on topic, what do you reckon to the new non ex director appointments? A swimwear designer and an educationalist? I don't know what to make of it, good or bad. Trainee drone operators dressed in mankinis and mortar boards?
Was that you picking up a few more today, Jolly, or were you unloading your substantial holding?
they raised will only pay half of woolett's anual salary
trading stats yesterday. In and out if you believe the buy and sell markers. I don't .Never much news from Simi. In a way I don't mind that. We already had a piece of good news and that sent the price down. You just never know. At least I don't.
in trades? Maybe someone will jump in soon. The spread is high but I doubt you'd have to pay 17 for them
It's always a worry with small compnanies (and sometimes very big ones) that the accounting maybe very creative to the point of surreal. In the case of Simigon, as some others have pointed out, this might be difficul to pull off. After all, they are not trying to opérate in a mobile phone App market, nor are they a small African miner. As said before, they are in a sensitive área and keep news to a mínimum. An update on the financial side could help this one along. Lets see.
Happy New Year to you Jolly and all other Simigon holders and potential holders.I say happy but the start to the year has been far from it. I've looked around for info on Simi but it's hard to find. I suppose that might be because they do opérate in a very sensitive área. If I was employing them to train my defense forcé, I'd be a bit concerned about too much publicity.Lets hope for some possitive news soon
Probaballly right ,BD, about the lack of interest in SIM. Mind you, I prefer that to the intense interest in the likes of GBO,ZOX and IFL over the last year.
I just can't see how they can recover from this.It was bad enough a few months ago. One minute it was Thailand, then Vietnam. Removing heat exchangers, changing to gas from coal or the other way round, I can't remember. There doesn't seem, and it never really has seemed, that there is any direction to this company. It has floated around for years. in fact they floated their entire mechanism from the U.S.A. to Korea. I bought into the idea. I sold the idea.I bought in again. I sold again at a loss. Learnt a lot in the process, though.
Hi again, I've come to the same conclusión to keep out of AIM.I have had some success stories though, and some near disasters. I do hold main market companies, unfortunately three of them are financials. Re Simigon, there's never much news coming out of them.
I heard about that GBO thing. It sounds a right mess.Maybe something will come back to the small investor in the end.. You never know. Re Simigon, I still hold on. And hold on. Happy, or rather, jolly hunting for the future. Your comments are always welcome.
I might buy it. Only joking. Well I've bought a bit of it. I think I must own the door handle on the front door of their office.
