Hate to say it I agree with bucklefern. However having a English high court judgement behind us does stand us in good stead. But it could take years. So we haven't been offered a big enough share? Or no share? Diplomatic avenues seem hopeful. And if the Chinese are desperate to get this moving whoever they deal with, hopefully the weight of those two things will be enough to get a resolution soon.
Sorry mate your getting me confused with the guy you seem to have a problem with. Pretty straight question. What else do they have? You don't seem to be able to give me an answer. The way I see it is that a) pathfinder knew that the court ruling was coming and that it has been made now, to clear the path for a deal to be done which benefits us. Or b) we have been shafted and blindsided. And if that's the case could they really have not anticipated something like this from happening?? And now its happened what options are there? Delay? Hope that the new Chinese party will be honourable and abide by British law. The way the US, China trade deal is going and the current state of the world I don't think one Chinese company would have any qualms about ignoring a British ruling. But one would hope that all of this has been factored in to prior negotiations. Perhaps it could go to international arbitration. Major delay major headache no way a tribunal would not side with a British ruling.
This was the reason richieboy stepped down his assault. Would be very surprised if it doesn't get resolved now. Drew is one of the largest shareholders isnt he. Everyone one on board is experienced in mining. My guess is that that the general has said he will play ball only if drew is out of the picture. But my guess is that the general is being made to play ball and that his only concession. I hope so anyway. Gla.
Yes zapsnap I did mean it in a positive way. Align were jumping on negative info and using it to try and take control, even making acxusations of mortgage fraud. My guess is that they have been ripped off as to what's likely to happen and that satisfies their objectives. I wonder if Ritchie is going to share any positive knowledge??
Well said Gold miner. I think a lot of people have bought in not expecting such a long time without a resolution. But does that mean that someone stamping their feet and making a lot of noise to stir up something on boards like this one, can change things over night? Without even having met face to face their proposed business partners, When the UK high court have ruled in our favour. Also it's wise to remember that this share has been a massive pump and dump favourite for at least a couple of years. Regularly doubling it value and then dropping in a matter of days. This kind of action attracts people wanting to make a quick buck. And will have surely been targeted by various people. The UK government is involved in this on the current boards side. Is it frustrating that it's not moving as fast as we would like? Yes. But will changing things to a new board with less experience, contacts and likely to undermine everything that's ever been done on this case which is not insignificant (a judgement from the UK high court) really make a difference? And with the motives of the people involved questionable at worse, unknown at best. It's just a slow mover, that's it.
Very glad that the board have actually come out and said something. If the UK are going to pledge a vast sum of money I think that bodes well for an positive court result. I don't have faith in ritchieboy to deliver. Trew and Bellingham have at least proven if nothing else that, if this does come good share holders will benefit. I don't think the same will happen if align get in. It will be either the biggest pump and dump ever or a massive pay to the general and the other guy. Interesting to note how easily opinion can be swayed, by aggression and insults.
