Thank you to everyone who let me know. Andrew was a gentleman, I met him at an AGM quite a few years back and stayed in contact, meeting up when we could. I now regret that it couldn't have been more times. I knew he was ill, but he was stoic and played it down when I was in contact with him on the 30th September.
I'll miss his his banter and him as a person.

Sorry to trouble everyone about an unrelated matter, but I've been trying to get hold of Aerial to see how he is.
Would anyone have happened to have heard anything please?
Merlin
I certainly will, thank you. Unfortunately, it's a bit more serious than Covid.
Merlin
Diggerman,
I spoke to Aerial a couple of weeks ago, he's rather unwell (that's all I can say).
I've been here since 2009 or 10, I can't remember which. Some would say "more fool you, get out now." To which my reply is "No thanks, I'm happy to stick it out."
I've been to several of the AGM's, along with Aerial, and had my own analysis of the coal results done through contacts in the field. Of course it's speculative and, of course, it could all go south, but that's the point of an investment such as this. You only invest what you can afford to lose, if you want something safer may I recommend something to do with fruit.
For those that were there at the start, we spoke about meeting at the Surfside Cafe on Caswell Bay in our Aston Martins when this does come good. I happened to be in Cardiff last week so myself and my new wife took the opportunity to go. I know why it was recommended now, what a stunning place. All that was missing was the Aston Martin!!
Aerial, if you get a chance to read this, I'm sure it's not just me wishing you all the best. My thoughts are with you and your family.

The gooseberries at Tesco are nice this year...........
............They must have had a pay rise.
My V8's about 550 hp and 600 torque at the moment. Saying that, it is having to shift around a lot of weight.
JohnZ,
Hope your daughter gets better soon.

One of the blues today is mine, topped up again.
Yesterday was blue, red and green..............Aerial, you know what I mean!!!
Happy Christmas everyone.
Merlin
I'm down about 45%, but sticking it out. If it stays at this price I'll probably top up again. All the figures say this should be a good investment, but I've always known that the risks are high so invest only what I can afford to lose.
Have a great Christmas everyone, stay safe.

If I was having to fill the petrol tank, then yes. But I've also got the LPG tank, which is only 60p a litre. Happy days!!
That's what I paid at about 11 this morning through Lloyds.
Took the opportunity to top up, it'd be rude not to at this price.
Onwards and upwards.........Hopefully!
Merlin
Can't work out why they haven't asked me to do the Brexit negotiations!!!!
Absolutely. They said if I recommend them I can buy the same wines for exactly the same price.!!!
Dear all,
In these times of uncertainty, austerity, doom and gloom I thought I'd let you all know that I've just bought 12 bottles of very good Portuguese wine for £45, including the shipping, direct from Portugal. If anyone wants the website I think I can post it, portugalvineyards.com.
Apologies if I'm not allowed to or if anyone doesn't like wine.
Merlin
I agree, something afoot..
I'm glad I topped up when I did.
Merlin
Well, this is nice. My entire share portfolio is blue today. Long may it continue.
Hope everyone is doing ok out there. Just curious, has anyone else driven the Hardknott Pass in The Lake District before? I was up there working last week, it was a bit of a challenge in my truck but well worth it, blue skies and some of the most stunning scenery I've ever seen.
Stay safe
Merlin
Just for info, my top up is shown as a sell instead of a buy.
Merlin
Yep, I did and still here.....just living the dream, or is it nightmare??
Merlin
The oysters are really good. And the cheeses, charcuterie, olives,....
Sod it, now I'm hungry.
