CExaminer reminds me of the grim reaper.
Spot, I'd bet he doesn't know any more than us.
I would've much preferred there to be any trial errors with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. That would have been brilliant news for Vela!
AstraZeneca is directly involved in the Arcadia trial so I wouldn't say this is good news.
Or am I missing something?
Happy to be proved wrong but from what I've read on here that seems to be the consensus. Just relaying what I've read, I'm by no means a warrant expert
This has already been addressed on this board numerous times. They do not have control.
"The timing of Vela’s conversion of warrants to raise an extra £202K on the 5th November fits in line with the TSI placing announcement on 11th November."
Vela has no control over when warrants are converted so I'm afraid this statement is incorrect.
To see a rise to over 0.1p we need the following next month (imo):
- Initial Arcadia trial results
- New Investment RNS
- New Vela Director RNS by end of the year (as confirmed in previous RNS)
Or who knows how much lower we will keep drifting. I'll start really panicking this time next month if none of the above has happened. For now just have to be patient.
I will be over the moon with 0.2p!
Abbey, Vela recently reached 0.18p on no news from a low of 0.06p. It's possible we will see a similar rise over the next 6 months on the back of positive news.
Provided it's a successful phase 2, this should be 0.2p in no time. Just my opinion of course. I'm not selling one share until the end of the trial completion date next year even if we don't hear any news before then. In James Normand we must trust lol!
Earlofaim, we're all waiting on that link. Why so quiet all a'sudden?
Yes, please post the link.
I hope it's not a number you saw on a random Twitter account!
hehe Prosper, I just think we shouldn't expect too much next month given the trial is not even halfway through completion.
Trial still looking to recruit over 100 patients so why should we be expecting news soon?
Do your research!
And that's before the 3bn warrants that are still outstanding.
Syme has over double the number of shares as Vela but as you say, never say never
1p would value the company between £130-150m (depending on warrants).
Highly unlikely we will see 1p but you never know. Someone here last week was posting figures of £300m if the Covid treatment is successful. Still, I'm not sure how realistic or accurate that was.
My target is 0.20p-0.30p in 6 months. I will be more than happy with that.
TheTruth, if you look at my post history you will see I am no VELA deramper. I was here from the 6's when it first hit 13.5p and even then I didn't sell one share as I'm long here for at least the next 6 months.
I just think it's important to be aware that along with the potential for Vela to do well in the next year, there is also a price ceiling to consider given the huge amount of shares in issue.
Let's not fight over something so petty as I hope we will all make some serious money here.
I've been long in this share since the board was quiet and there were literally no more than a few posts a week.
If I'm honest, I miss the absence of ramping morons such as yourself.
