I'm a little confused over this - Would the manafacturing services utilse the loaned machinery or omegas "own" machinery ? If loaned machinery I thought omega are waiting for govt to choose and why are govt not acting as facilitator? If "own" machinery is that at the expense of vistect antigen?

Which test are they talking about mologic/Avacta one or mologic/vistect one (or is it both)? Can see a bit of carnage tomorrow sp wise.

From an ODX perspective I'd hope they are protected by govt contract i.e. being able to manafacture what govt wants ( does this make surescreen more likely?) also given positive FIND trial could see sales outsidenog UK for vistect. But in short term not impressed.

Could you provide links to the independent Avacta clinical validation studies, obviously seen the RNS (which was light on detail) but would be useful to see who carried them out, how they were carried out and how many people involved.

Its my impression that mologics standalone test is further down that track than Avacta but I stand corrected

Also be interesting to find out (if we ever do) about what effect toyota had on the production side of things.

It couldnt be found on bidstats so thats why it was questioned. Id love it to be true but couldn't see offical notification of it anywhere so I'll reserve judgement until proved true or otherwise

Have filtered MPs questions - they're asking quite a few. on ABC process as well as antigen. Interesting questions hopefully get some more insight. Don't imagine they'll be answered today though, there's form for the answers to be provided a couple of weeks after expected date.

I somehow missed this last week. Given the numbers of employees qouted the production capacity could be similar to Omegas. That being the case UK demand could still outweigh UK capacity.

They don't appear to be too random. The £3.74 appears to be the contract divided by 100m tests.

However we don't know how many tests form part of the govt contract and the £374m is over two years so the contract could be for 50m tests per year, or you could make the case that it's for 25m tests per year if you compare the values of GAD and omegas contracts (50m tests over 2 years, Gad 150m tests over two years,who knows what time frame govt used when they said 200m tests?)

If it was 50m tests per year the annual contract value would be £374m / 2 = £187m from UK govt

we also know that one of the latest LFTs retail sales price is signiificantly higher than £3.74. and a £2.50 margin has been floated around these boards previously.

I'm happy for others to speculate on margins (as Indeed I do personally) It's one method to determine if I wish to remain invested. The sooner we find out the better mind!

I think the potential Gross profit is understated in this calculation - look at prices of competitors LFTs they're significantly more than £3.74. on the flipside your P/E might be overly optimistic. No one knows how long testing will be required and to what extent I'd expect P/E to be lower (albeit on a potentially higher EBITDA.)
