Are they deliberately avoiding sharing who holds the last 100m shares?
It still feels to me like we’re in a no lose situation with this share in the short/medium term. Every day there’s the chance that news of a major contract will ignite the share price and if that doesn’t happen, then every day is also a step closer to the solid cell with enough money in the bank to get us there. It’s hard to see where negative news might come from (at least before the new year).
This feels like a deal we could have been competing for if we’d been ready? Let’s hope we get another Supermarket of equivalent value.

Ha ha. Yes, in the end I think we just caught up the rest of the UK Hydrogen stocks so I’m not sure it means much but here’s to hoping it gets the ball rolling. As I said a few days ago, ITM hovered about 25% above the price it raised money at last autumn for around a month so I’m hoping we follow a similar pattern. I’m now emotionally invested in this share in the hope it will help your family out too!
One other thing to remember as we patiently await news ... Raising big rounds of funding takes up a lot of a CEO’s headspace and energy. That’s all out of the way for at least two years. AB can now focus on the important stuff that should see the company repay investor patience.
A CEO is absolutely there to create long-term shareholder value. They aren’t there to artificially pump up the share price through optimistic communications or myopic strategy though.
Nothing (apart from a worsening macroeconomic picture) has changed since the extreme-e deal was announced and the company raised £30m+ to secure it for 3/4 years. Everything rests on there being some substance behind the company’s optimism on sales over the next 6 months. I’m going to try and stop tracking it too much day to day as I’m going to stick with AFC until it either comes good or until I’m sure they’re not being straight with us.
Our solid cell with an Ammonia cracker should outcompete existing fuel cells in Hydrogen trains. 1) cheaper fuel, 2) smaller fuel tanks 3) probably lower hardware cost. https://www.railwaygazette.com/uk/alstom-breeze-hydrogen-train-designated-class-600/57015.article
Hopefully the work needed to engineer how the cell fits into the train and to produce the new trains can happen concurrently with the cell development. If it doesn’t, it will be a while between the solid cell being ready and it being deployed.
