Some brilliant content on this ****show
Pretty deflated after the latest presentation. I dearly love the tech in this company and the ceo but I’m tearing my hair out at what appears to be a lack of business acumen at getting this teat out there and sold.
We have the best test, uk made, using an amazing technology and no one absolutely no one outside a handful of pi’s no about in. We’ve done zero pr anout it.
On the flip side you have pandemic profiters Innova selling garbage but 3.2 billion pounds banked. I just wish Avacta were somewhere in the middle.
It was noticeable in the presentation how often he mentioned the doors the lft has opened in terms of discussions about the affimer platform and its got me wondering if we are seriously interested in getting it out there or are we using it as a showcase to get more licensing deals??
We have known how good the test is from the start of the year, orders and deals should have been lined up. Abingdon should have completed TT and we should have a stockpile of tests using some of our cashpile to forward sell them.
If anyone wants cheered up because of the SP action, here's the story of how Innova was setup and made made 3.2 billion in under a year:

My favourite Twitter account at the moment. Not sure how long it's got before it gets shut down but the device failure tweet about the Odx tests turning up at Porton Down had me in stitches.

This is how

Avacta are caught up in this, they're being stonewalled the same way, it's all in the annual report:
In order to participate in tender contracts offered by the UK Government, the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral Flow Test has to pass an evaluation process at the UK Government’s Porton Down facility. The first stage of the evaluation process does not use the lateral flow test in the manner that it was designed for and there is therefore uncertainty as to whether the test can pass the Porton Down evaluation process which could delay the ability to tender for government contracts.
500k sales just gone through. Won’t be long now
Sounds like they had a heavy weekend: https://twitter.com/the_innova/status/1404270935323123717
