Stay calm .. nothing .. i just deleted 8 lines of narrative, Tamil Nadu was the dream back in the day leading to the golden egg. of the ARM model giving the units away for license. (JCs words) to this same guy tanking the SP every time he opens his mouth. This company will be sold for pennies and we will reap our pennies .. criminals .. im angry and if im proved wrong then so be it ..ive been here since Adam like many.. India is tricky and i think we CC may have been scammed by the best in the world. I hope im wrong but the big players are moving in with the big money...we are not one of them
Vas, thank you for trying to make sense of the Genus saga.
Many of us have been here since before the Tamil Nadu days and have suffered (a lot lol)
I still live in hope that CC can pull this off but like so many have said "the silence is deafening"
GL all!
Colour, this is what i am trying to get an angle on in regards to Genus.
Does anybody actually know what their "wholly owned subsidiaries" are internally supplying to Genus.
Surely there must be framework supply deals being discussed behind closed doors or nothing would be delivered.
Meantime, back to building Hinckley point.
It looks as though Genus don't actually need Cyan or any other sub contractor to provide infastructure for their metering products.
Genus Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (GMISP) division engages itself in the role of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (“AMISP”) for Smart Metering on Design Build Finance Own Operate Transfer (DBFOOT) basis. As an AMISP player, Genus is responsible for operations of all meters and related infrastructure after Operational Go-Live of the AMI system in any of the chosen utility for a specified contract period. As an AMISP player, it is responsible to finance and implement the entire project. Utility pays Service Charge on a monthly basis to Genus in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AMISP Contract. Genus, as an AMISP shall transfer the ownership of the entire system including all the hardware, software, and any data collected during the Project to the Utility at the end of the Contract Period to facilitate seamless operation of Utility businesses.
Genus has also now diversified from electricity meters to development and production of Data Loggers, Smart Gas and Smart Water Meters as well and is confident of becoming a leading Smart Gas and water meter manufacturer and solution period in a short period of time.
Equipped with avant-grade manufacturing facilities, complete forward and backward integration from plastic parts to final products, automated SMT lines, Lean Assembly techniques and a team of highly qualified and
experienced engineers, Genus is committed to develop innovative and customized solution (be it Electricity, Gas or Water) at an affordable price. It’s top-notch R&D Center, recognised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, has enabled the company to dominate the power infrastructure and be at the forefront of new technology.
Its about time this company started to get funding from the right places. Many have been here for donkeys and are still being caught out by the shenanigans of this company when it comes to funding...enough is enough !!
LTI, if you check your 1st X link on the DistribuElec2024 exhibition you will notice that Cyan have a "Universal Head End System". It states this on the wall presentation in the back of the picture. Not sure if it is better that other UHES offerings or which teach is newest.
Not too much in the way of new sub orders coming our way at the moment.
Could the Genus (and other) news releases be connected?
Maybe some form of collusion is ongoing on the workability of integration of proven tech at meter manufacture ?
I wish i had waited a week to top up, this SP looks like another good top up opportunity.
Something smells here with the way the SP has been tanking on no real news and nothing from JC.
It would be a good time for the the directors to put their hands deep into their pockets and load up.
