Was a good interview (if you look past TW moronic PI bashing). He doesnt say a lot about NEW apart from a final passing comment that he wont let NEW holders down, knowing full well what was due to be announced shortly after this interview. It was an overall good investing lesson from a very successful businessman. If you get time to watch I would recommend it.
I reckon as part of the EGM a call to rid us of the old board will also take effect I would urge those looking to support AR and the turn around of this company to think very carefully and actually use your vote (whichever way you want) Contact your broker and ask them to send you voting instructions, can generally be done online or over the phone, or they can send out written instructions. For LTH this is your time to try and influence the company in the direction you want. Dont rely on others to make you money.
Pi101. You clearly have had your head stuck in the sand over the last 10 months. Yes, there has been no RNS that states the company is looking to change direction. But NWOG was set up to change the BOD and bring in AR because he will diversify/turn the company around. He is not an O&G man, and was voted in with this knowledge by the majority at last years AGM. He openely spoke in an interview with sharepickers that he would be looking at an asset not in the O&G space (initially med-tech - his area of expertise). All of your posts to the contrary are a clear attempt to deramp a stock that, if anyone believed your garbage, cant be sold anyway as we are locked in with suspension. If you are trying to influence a no vote at the EGM then I am afraid you are fighting a losing battle. NWOG will vote yes and thats >10% of the vote. Good luck
An industry change has been on the cards since last year when NWOG called the EGM. Why moan about it now?! where have you been for the last 6 months?! Im 50/50 in terms of what Big Sofa can offer. I know the industry (distruptive tech) Id like to have sight of the companys books prior to adding any further comment. Why do they need the £500k? Is this working capital to conitnue a project or just to fund wages/bills? if the latter then whats the big deal? I am waiting for AR to convince me and perhaps he will. We after all havent seen anything from either side to suggest is good/bad news All we can do now is wait. This stock has been a punt for 6 months, if youve treated it as anything else then you may have made a mistake.
ha reel them in
IMO of a few RTOs. Cant see this being the "big one" Could do with some financials really to gauge how "big" they are. Interesting they need £500k for WC purposes? Looking forward to increased news flow
Bigger picture here. The SP will rise on anticipated news flow. Say it goes to 0.1p, the placing then could be 0.07p so actually at a premium to todays price and why the NWOG Action group (who are privvy to some insider info) have been topping up at around these prices? Im not in NWOG, but am looking forward to benefitting from their hard work.
blind ramping on cash position that is 5 months out of date. there will be a cash call here, but as AR stated he will be putting in and also inviting existing holders to buy in too. Put some cash to one side if I were you
These results are a line in the sand. Over to you AR
It's $3.2m so about £2.5m. Equivalent about 0.053p SP. Be interesting to see how that's interpreted by MM
Wouldnt be surprised if AR has instigated this move to get his way on the BOD Exciting time here for sure
Hi Am looking into this company following their feature on the Sharepickers podcast yesterday. Seems failry valued at the moment and "only" downside is location? Good cash balance and nice dividend (rare) for an AIM company. Anyone know the % owned by directors?
Im not in here but had a quick look following a "tip" on twitter Last time saw a spike was March last year 0.19-0.27 over 2 days, followed by placing at 0.2 couple of days later for Walchen Licence, however i note that Working Capital not noted in the request for funds. Looking at the balance sheet cash remained steady during the 12 month period from June 14-June15 (£13k difference). Think if you've recently bought in <0.1p then you've already seen a decent returnon this buzz/rumours. One to watch for me. GLA
Made me chuckle! I find it interesting that no cut off date has been announced re the capital return in terms of how long holding etc. Or have i missed this?
In neither stock (anymore as sold the other one at great expense) but a keen observer. But what are your thoughs about Clem getting involved in SER?? Has he been misled by BMD/CO?
sound like a man desperate to get our a bit higher
I'd already written off. Contact the advisor as per RNS and see if you have any options. Otherwise it's goodnight Vienna. I doubt they will relist.
forever if they dont relist
Sorry Steakbake we wont get a penny back If it delists then the shares are owned in name only on the co register (or should be) RNS will be issued by the LSE rather than the company direct, which I just checked and nothing today, today will probably be the dealine if the 6 months is accurate (which i think it is), so tomorrow maybe the day
Not sure if this applies but found this excerpt from the LSE guidelines http://www.londonstockexchange.com/companies-and-advisors/aim/advisers/rules/aim-rules-for-companies.pdf "The Exchange will cancel the admission of AIM securities where these have been suspended from trading for six months." So i am going to assume they will be cancelled at some point. I have already writted this off but come back and check every now and again in case any rumours have arisen Good luck either way, I hope we will hear one way or the other sooner rather than later.
