‘I can only advice to move all your holdings to paper Certificate right now’
Infinity, you keep banging on about this, have you got the right qualifications to be giving people advice on here ? What’s your agenda ?

Paul Obambi describes the Mayoko project and from 22:00 says this: ‘ROC has the potential to become the 3rd largest iron ore producer behind Australia and Brazil. We (Sapro) have reached an important milestone by signing an
agreement with the world’s first commodity trader, Glencore. Glencore is a name you all know in the oil sector, but Glencore also has a large iron ore trading operation. This offtake agreement of 15mt/year has the potential of generating for Sapro, revenues equivalent to the budget of the Republic of Congo. That’s quite something..’’
He then says that the rail infrastructure needs upgrading etc. but that a Port solution has just been found (Arise IIP).
Is a Mayoko / Zanaga tie up a remote possibility ?

Here is a presentation of Sapro Mayako , Zanaga and Soremi during the PPP forum:

Paul Obambi confirms that a 15 mt / year offtake agreement has been signed between Sapro and Glencore. That’s a lot of ore for Mayko alone…

Lynthip, your are correct. I’m just frustrated by the lack of communication from our IR department. Hopefully it’s for a good reason (NDA agreement).
So, let me offer something a bit more positive.

Media interview following the PPP forum last month. IMO, it is highly significant that these two prospective iron ore projects have been chosen as the ‘Private’ side of Public Private Partnership discussion with a member of the government.
Sitting next to each other you have Paul Obambi (Sapro) and Florent Lager, president of the mining federation of Congo AND MPD manager, representing Glencore.

Not directly related to ZIOC but it shows that deals are being made between R.O.C. and Glencore.

Google translate is your friend…In short, Cad fund confirms COIDIC withdrawal from the Pointe Noire economic zone project and introduces China Baowu as a new potential developer and investor…
Good morning 99ice / all

Regarding the Mayoko / Thelo DB project I read this:
‘’The company has a long-term production target of 150 million tonnes per year and, has entered into an off-take agreement with Glencore in relation to the iron ...’’
(Railwaysafrica.com article)
Paul Obambi has tried to sell the ore from Mayoko to Glencore in the past, as reported on a couple of ‘Jeune Afrique’ articles.
Let’s wait and see…
Ps: I have been invested here for many years, with a sizeable holding.
I read a lot, post very little .
