Copper hit another 8 year high today at $8472...only another 40% to go...

With leverage and time that could see SOLG at £10 a share if they're not taken out this year by a hungry major...like Freeport...

Added another couple of k in SOLG...

Or NPV...sorry...

BBG Om absolutely convinced that's a factor for them...noth to get the SP up near term and the NAV longer term...wouldn't you...?

Is there any harm in sharing a dealing strategy...better surely for discussion than endless disputes about Angel's on the head of a pin...

Oh and in any case were not allowed to tip on here, but I got both SOLG and ATYM from tips years ago...how else would I have found our about them if people didn't share what they're doing?

Novice...I bought Golden Prospect yesterday when there was a huge seller. Have a look at the miners they're invested in...having sold them at 58.5 I couldn't resist for the long haul....gold, silver (especially) copper all going north in this Supercycle..

Solid day today...100k took us back up to core holding levels, so fingers crossed we have seen the bottom...

Meanwhile picked up over 300k GPM today...there must have been a determined seller, because it was 52/52 at one time...worth a look tomorrow maybe for asset diversification...?And no...not a pump because its a fund...

Not entirely surprising addict as they took advice from their bankers and decided to continue to hold SOLG as a 'strategic investment'...

Also they are not out of the frame for a JV, but they are less well resourced than BHP...

BHP are the third biggest copper miner in the world, but Newcrest are the sixth biggest gold miner...well ahead of BHP...

The interested bankers/streamers, will already have access to the MRE and PEZ if they require, as part of their due diligence (as indeed FNV did)...remember Ingo has been working on this financing for months and its his core specialism...

There is growing evidence of a strong corporate debt market in North America...

Not surprising as any underwriter would have a massive ready buyer in the US Fed...

And interest rates are still at all time lows...50 year 'FRED' is at 3.06%; 30 years US Treasury debt is at 1.93%; and 10 year Treasuries at 1.20%

But the thing is that SOLG doesn't even need 10 year debt...5 year rate is 0.49%...

SXX's off takes were entirely at the behest of the Chinese 'buyers'...I never placed any value on them and nor did the bankers...

The FNV deal is a 'hard' deal and SOLG has plenty of other prospective streamers...the difference is, SXXs off takes were jam tomorrow, AFTER the mine was built...they did NOT validate the resource...

SOLG's are hard cash upfront from the foremost streamer in the world...a strong element of streaming would certainly harden up the likelihood of a big debt element in the Alpala financing, but participation by a major would do even more so...

Finally, the major miner participation in SXX (Anglo) was a rescue deal AFTER they went belly up...

BCN I know nothing about but I managed to resist SXX despite all the massive interest round where I live...glad I did...some lost their pensions...

Oh and PS bought another 93k early this morning for her, taking us close to 600k again after my 100 late friday...

Still holding some firepower just in case...

The good news is that the Company is back in dialogue with its major shareholders...that is sensible and pragmatic...
