Following results expecting 70p plus as we should have a continuous stream of drill results and further updates. News before the end of this month with only a few trading days left.

Gold stocks tend to do well in those cases also.

Both ORR and XTR are talking about them placing to carry on drilling. They will need 10’s of thousands of metres of drilling yet so expect mega dilution.

Newmont and Agnico are funding OMI so that’s the holy grail deal for a minnow right there in the bag.

XTR only 1 hole drilled and £52m cap and for copped not gold. Couldn’t make it up only on AIM
OMI OVER 24 thousand metres drilled of high grade gold and £48m cap plus Newmont and Agnico Eagle funding all operations free to OMI.

Strong indicators across the board.

XTR seems to be a copper play with trace gold and silver. They are in phase 1 which is 2290m over 3 holes. I would say OMI having 24k metres already drilled before they started drilling again in Nov is much more advanced plus OMI has massive gold grades. Overreaction as always by the market so hopefully we can have a few sessions like that again here. XTR now £52m cap for 1 hole

Plus remember they are not starting operations from a base level such as an air survey which was the case with newcrest for ggp they are starting from a point of having a confirmed gold discovery from over 24k metres already drilled and analysed with unusually very high grade gold which is geographically analogous to its neighbouring Buritica gold mine 10-11m oz and growing.

This is why Newmont has not walked as they did with ggp which has inferior gold grades over a very large area which Newmont did not find attractive. It only suited Newcrest as they are already set up in the area in a mine which is coming to the end of its life so it was worth their while as they were already set up otherwise ggp would still be at the level they were at until they got a life line.

The point is Newmont did not walk on OMI they did walk on ggp and now OMI has 2 leading majors on board No1 and No8, Newmont and Agnico so they must see Anza as being good enough to satisfy them both and still free carry OMI for ultimately 25% free carry. Remember ggp retains only 30% but that was from an air survey level not an advanced drilling position as Anza is.

Newmont accepted Agnicos offer to get on board as they have been trying to get on board at Anza for some time. They specialise in the area and hold 20% of royal road who operate 7 prospects surrounding Anza on the middle cauca belt.
Newmont are not set up operationally on the middle cauca belt so it was a wise move to get the Anza ball rolling which now we know it is it is. They have 18 months to catch up on 4 years of operations. CEO Brad has stated they will bring in as many rigs as necessary but first of all they had to build access roads which they now have hence the second rig is now at work so expect operations to speed up considerably. They only had 1 rig in place back in Nov 15th, they now have 2 rigs operating. No cost to OMI....Agnico are funding currently until they reach parity with Newmont funding to date. At that point they will share operations 50/50 and no cost to OMI.
Only at the 4 year mark in 18 moths time do OMI reduce their position to 49% so currently OMI has 100% and all operations funded for them free which will continue until BFS is completed.

Dream deal no risk to holders or OMI

They have mainly had 1 rig, the second rig was awaiting a new access road which is obviously now in place so they will naturally speed up operations.
