Buriticá gold deposit could deliver 30Moz

Buriticá has proven and probable reserves of 13.72 million tonnes grading 8.4g/t Au & 24.3g/t Ag for 3.71Moz Au & 10.7Moz Ag. This is within a M&I resource of 16.02Mt @ 10.32g/t Au & 40.8g/t Ag for 5.3Moz Au & 21Moz Ag, with an inferred resource of 21.87Mt @ 8.56g/t Au & 37.3g/t Ag for 6Moz Au & 26.2Moz Ag.

The Buriticá reserves extend from the 1,800m level down to the 1,000m level. The resource model extends down to the 600m level. “We have drilled down to the 200m level and confirmed the system is wide open and high grade at depth. This is 400m below the feasibility orebody,” said CEO Ari Sussman. “Buriticá has a 3g/t cut-off grade. At a 0.5g/t cut-off, it would have a similar amount of gold as [AngloGold Ashanti’s] 28Moz at La Colosa,” he added

A common theme on tier 1 gold resources worldwide is that they commonly have more silver than gold in sections. So Brad suggesting Anza may be tier 1 and checking our silver results it may be a strong indicator experts are familiar with in tier 1 gold resources. We have almost 3 times more silver in the 70.5m section than we do gold at 9.33g/t.

Significant regional potential
APTA was originally selected for drilling due to it being the easiest target to get to given its relatively good access. A regional geochemical map covering the Anzá Project, however, highlights further anomalies to the north, south and west of APTA that Orosur’s management is keen to investigate, despite the numerous locational challenges they are expected to present. High quality geochemical anomalies derive from artisanal workings present both to the north and south along the Aragon fault. Planning is now underway across the granted tenements to define more targets amongst these, which could potentially lead to follow-up programmes while also seeking to extend APTA.

And straight to production very impressive.

The fault line is the key here and it runs through both Buritica and Anza.

Like Brad says we won’t know exactly until the results are in but we can ascertain from visuals from the cores to date they are consistent and impressive comparing to the results we do have.

The average VMS is circa 20m. A VMS of 70m+ is very significant and only present in a few locations worldwide.
