Don't forget that it WILL be legal to holiday to AMBER countries , but you obviously have to isolate on return AND follow the testing regime. People will go to the AMBER countries regardless of this so it is not all gloom and doom. I am surprised though that the Canaries , Malta and some Greek island's are not on the green list.
Yesterday's drop was due to market sentiment regarding the the worrying increasing virus cases around the world. It was across the board , not just specifically travel stock. But travel stock obviously being the hardest hit. Ftse was down around 2%. This was nothing to do with any no sail orders. Lets hope for some kind of recovery today. Gla.
It's not at all hard to see what is real and what is fantasy Thunder. What is real is the Tui sp which you just cannot get right and what is fantasy is what the 2 Walter Mittys spout off , those 2 being yourself and Spindler.
I think my point is proven Thunder2040. I havnt said or mentioned anything about any rights issue. You don't seem to know what your saying , it's just drivel. You really do need to study and think before saying anything because as I said earlier , you are making yourself look very silly.
I really havnt heard so much drivel being spoken by one person before as i have with Thunder2040. Obviously has no idea how markets function. Thunder2040 , you really should study the basics of how the stock market works and market influences as you are making yourself look a little silly !!
Evening dusterinmong --- you obviously have strong opinions on this. So do I but the opposite of yours. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect yours so let's agree to disagree. I think both our opinions means that we both hope things can get back to some form of normality as quickly as possible. It's our individual views on " normality" that differ. Whatever your stance on Tui is I wish you luck.
dusterinmong --- I completely disagree with you and the Welshman. We have now almost got to the stage when an acceptable risk of covid has to to be the norm. You cannot keep people confined , unable to live their lives for much longer. You cant wait for cases to be eliminated. People are suffering mentally , physically and emotionally. People are being refused the routine treatment they need from the nhs , businesses are being brought to their knees , the UK is being bankrupted. The most vulnerable people in the UK have nearly all had their first doses of vaccine and received some protection , many having received their second. By May they now predict that all will have had their first dose and it will be time to open up and accept the risk and allow herd immunity if needed to take place.
Yes it is Ian1970 and I believe there are great opportunities to rake it in here. Obviously people are going to day trade this relentlessly as it is one of those stocks that highly react to the slightest positive or negative news which is great if you can get in and out at the right time but unpredictability can be dangerous if you dont get it right. This one is one to hang onto and reap the rewards , but over time and as you've said before , this is for the future so patience is key.
Something a little odd about the drop in sp from about 1pm onwards this afternoon. I dont believe its just a routine cycle drop. There must have been some some kind of negative news around that time that became apparent. Possibly related to tomorrows budget or maybe something else , although I don't know what? But something definately kicked this drop in and not just a selling event. Interesting to see what happens to the sp in the morning.
