pokerchips - the americans are ****-a-hoop with the election results. the dems and the media are grasping daily for new scare stories. of course the cabal will try to smash his presidency like they tried before with the fake impeachments, russia russia etc. this time the americans are not buying it. as for truss, funny how the flash crash only lasted as long as necessary to force her removal.

i think rather all is not well in dem land now that the americans have woken up. making america normal again seems the be the welcomed agenda.

swamp draining. cuts to wasteful spend, wasteful departments. trillions to be saved 2t in spend + govt payrolls, wfh. migrant hand outs and controlled migration and deports. the europeans will follow suit in 3-4 years behind.

I view it as different positions within the same account and lowering the AC below the initial investment costs to profit. My aim on each share is to obtain a position where my investment is reimbursed 100% and there is still a shareholding at NIL net cost.

I raely fully sell out.

Each one does there own thing and I am open about what I do which is consistent and refreshing compared to others. A balanced portfolio allows risk taking. Patience is key here.

75p why not 30p ? Why not 94p?

No one has a crystal, pay your money and take your chance. Or don't. Shares go up and down. Entry and exit are all that matter.

BTW the conference call seems rather bullish and wish I have bought more at 94p than my 3 adds this morning.

Seemingly going back through £1 soon so may see momentum.

Next week, Courir deal closes so that could be a further catylist to the upside.

I buy in tranches and sell in tranches and trim on bounces and sell on spikes so of course I am in at the bottom and out near the top in positions.

Sometimes my positions are out of the money for a while but that works for me. Each day is a different race for every share.

Here is an illustration for company X

A - Buy at 150p, invest 100% of the allocated funds to eg in JD. Sports - open to a huge loss and no funds to buy more ! Trapped at 150p

Tranche 1 10% funds at 130 following a drop

Tranche 2 10% @ 120

Tranche 3 10% @ 112

Tranche 4 20% @ 101

Tranche 5 20 % @ 96

Tranche 6 30@ @ 94

Average at 103.8 with a view to trim and readd. Certainly better that the 150p trapped price. A retrace to 120p or the 150/ 160p range in the next 12 months, the tranche buying wins handsdown.

If the price drops further will increase holding on 15% drops. Eventually it will allow equlilibrium again. No piain no gain. Timing is nearly impossible to get right.

Nice pop, exited at open and considering adding back a few ! I remember this around 87/87 and have been cautious here as it could hit £2 so easily.

A long term add and hold, especially if it drops more. Never add 100%, best to average in and trim on the bounces. Patience is also a virtuw ere going by past experience.

Out of the money and then another day the whole thing turn around and gaps higher. The base here is still out but will continue to add.

Never imagined this would drop so much but there you go - nice gap down to fill again as we retrace to 120p.

Will add again lower as it seems to be a bargain like RNK and GNC and many others. Eventually will even out again.

All I am seeing is Trump dancing sports star joy in the USA 🇺🇸.

The hiccup in October is filled with confidence. My friends in the US both Dems and Reps are seeing a resurgence of hope and unity in their lives. Follow the joy.

When it eventuslly gets resolved there could be a significant write back of provisions and a huge short squeeze.

Underlying business performing well as per. Winter still an issue but reduced losses by 75%.

Uncertainty and impact still but confidence that CBG will pull through this period so buy dips and trimming rises to consolidate AC ahead of recovery.
