You would also think any test approved with a CE Mark in the pandemic when the corona virus existed would have already qualified under the CDTA regs
Makes you wonder why these were brought in as they have basically shut down the U.K. industry. The CE mark should have been sufficient. It is an admission the CE mark failed. They should have reviewed each test and withdrew the CE mark on any test that was not up to standard. Yet they managed to introduce a fee to review what they failed to do in the first instance approve a test properly and have done it at the expense of the whole industry.

So all questions finished, the Ulster data was submitted 6/9 so a number of questions would have been about the data as all other work had been done on-going since beginning of July. So anytime
Ho ho ho
Ho ho ho Xmas present
Lockdown ?!!! Or tests
Imagine being in contact with a live covid infection and cannot test for 10 days
Imagine schools not able to give LFTs to pupils so empty when they are open
Imagine not going into lockdown but all weekend sport cannot have spectators because there are no lfts
Lot of whinging on here, we already new the contract had ended, the BOD needed that confirmation so they were not left dangling and potentially left with a lawsuit if they could not meet the requirements of the DHSC contract. They had to take action to get DHSC to confirm when it should have been notified earlier. The BoD can now plan what to do with the capacity where the margins are going to be higher in the retail market. Wonder if the overdraft extension is to provide funding to buy the DHSC equipment, the demand from DAM will be there. What is the depreciation on 2nd hand LFT production equipment?
Alde yes the green boxes are just like square Xmas trees
Under plan B looks like football/rugby ground sponsorships will require more tests than 200k a week
When the contract was announced, one of DAMs business development associates tweeted Visitect will be global in Dec. Now the last list of approvals was 10th Nov, the 2nd Wednesday of the month. That is 8th December for this month for public notice surely firms aren’t notified from the public listing one would think they would be told prior to its issue. It’s close folks.
Beynon ODX said they can use the equipment either DHSC have confirmed as such or there is a condition of the contract which allows them use when the contract expires
Big bangs agree totally with your statement as far as the DHSC are concerned it is probably an administrative failure probably confusion more tha anything and it could still very well happen. But that is why ODX made the public statement legally they now are in a position where they cannot be sued as they have removed all doubt about the contract status. It is now up to the DHSC to take corrective action otherwise ODX has the equipment available for commercial orders.
Gman ODXs tweet Friday night said the equipment was available
