But you keep saying the same things over and over, day after day including sweeping statements such as ‘there will not be much need for this test’. That I am afraid is complete and utter nonsense! Look beyond the screen at the real world and what has been going on for over a year now. Look at the trillions lost in trade globally. Look at the mutations, this is not going away and experts predict a hard autumn/winter due to those mutations beating the jabs. Testing will be around for years. The tax payer will want VALUE FOR MONEY as the tax income remains dreadful. The government wants to ensure the UK never locks down again. What you have suggested (DIY) will not achieve that in the slightest.
Well why not? You seem to think tax payers have endless money to purchase unreliable throw away tests that require a second test to confirm the initial outcome if positive.(oh, another government u turn) Our Government knows it needs to do daily (operation moonshot) but currently it doing twice a week.. is this due to cost? Reliability? Both?
Keep the blinkers on! Tests such as Paraytec’s are exactly what they are waiting for outside of the home.
Relying on DIY tests will never be the answer..
Most with coronavirus symptoms don’t get tested or isolate, study finds
Experts found that only half of people could identify the main coronavirus symptoms, which include a cough, high temperature and loss of taste or smell.
Just 18 per cent of those with symptoms said they had requested a test, while only 43 per cent with symptoms in the previous seven days adhered to full self-isolation.

The glass is always half full with me and that can be both financially positive and negative :-)
I can’t help but think of the RNS dated 1st March
Trevor Brown, CEO of Braveheart, commented " These latest laboratory results make clear that the Paraytec technology is capable of being market leading. Our attention will now turn towards quickly commencing the final clinical trial and commercialising our product either ourselves or with a partner. We look forward to providing the next update in April."
We know Paraytec are turning the lab findings into a commercial product by hiring a temp and the detail within the advert. Is all this cashing in something to do the Braveheart/Paraytec going for it alone? But then I ask, why pay out that divi? But then again, when the divi was paid they did not know Paraytec’s device was going to beat there own expectations. Plot/mystery/thickens
We need an update!
If you think it’s never going to market then why have Paraytec advertised for an assistant to work at Sheffield Uni for 2 months to transfer the lab findings into a commercial product?
CEO selling.. ugh! Never looks good but he does hold a large percentage of the company, he is at retirement age and it is also end of tax year. It is a puzzle knowing the product is being geared for commercialisation.
‘This post will contribute to translation of basic biology findings into a commercial application.’
Contract Type: Fixed term until 30 June 2021
Mmm.. this looks good! A temporary post for approx 10 weeks - commercial application
Some help to understand Braveheart and Trevor Brown. He does what it says on the tin.
