I am truly sorry to hear of this outcome – sorry for the personal inconvenience to you and for how it reflects on the airline’s on-going neglect for its passengers. Your final two sentences are so true.
I, too, would like to know which flight it was, since the Updates panel on our Home Page has been boasting “There are no disruptions at the moment” since over two weeks ago. Of course, our Facebook pages are as unreliable as our flights are, I know.
It is surely better to honour our schedules even at a loss than to continue to damage whatever shred of reputation we have left by cancelling any flight no matter how many of its seats are sold, especially since our total load available is being depleted. It is imperative IMO that people get to know that they can rely on a fastjet flight that is advertised as operating, if we are ever going to build the business.
