I asked the Investor Services, but didn't get any date. Just got a message to register for the email notifications. Fro my understanding the notofications are arrivong same day as RNS so this is not what I'm looking for.

Very unlikely Gov idea. In Admiral case it was their decision. Gov cannot ask that as they would need to reimburse some operational costs to the Insurance companies. Also hard to say who is using car, who is not.
If we follow this idea, then what, companies in all sectors should be refunding fees? no chance.
