A friend of DL?!?!?!?!?! What kind of childish, utterly delusional person suggests that an investor in a company is 'a friend' of the CEO? As for 'never seeing my money again', that's something neither you nor anyone else can possibly know and it's certainly not your concern. Herein lies the issue: The Trolling Stones appear to want to tell us what's good or bad for us! Mind control. There's no place for such Soviet style tactics in a forum like this which is, by definition, concerned with capitalism.

Investors are aware of risk. Cry baby gamblers like The Trolling Stones should stick to a weekly lottery ticket. Or just take the money to thpub where you can cry in your beer over your losses.

I'm very curious as to the apparent obsessive motivation of the likes of ExMS, Skid, Burrenboy, Fingerintheair, You couldntmakeit, etc etc - for ease of reference, THE TROLLING STONES - in getting on here every day solely attack this stock.

What's your motivation....or your problem? Are you exasperated, bitter investors who bought high and lost money? Are you current holders sitting on a massive loss? Or are you not invested, maybe never invested, in ENET, in which case your interest and expended energy in constantly, relentlessly slagging off this stock is baffling. Have you nothing else to do? Is stock-bashing a hobby? Or perhaps a psychological disorder?

Whatever the case, it's really BORING and tedious to read and the supposed 'humour' in some of these comments amount to nothing better than schoolboy sarcasm. So if you're looking for a fight, perhaps Ukraine could yse your help.

Just as the stock markets absolutely run on sentiment, so it is with individual stocks. Therefore potential but undecided investors will be greatly influenced by discussion boards like this. If it were not so, neither rampers nor derampers would bother. All the more reason for neither to prevail and for reasoned, moderate comments to be encouraged. I think some people here forget that, amongst the facts and figures, major reasons for a sickly share price are negative comments and consequent buying reluctance. I'm definitely not ramping this or any other share. It's up to individuals to decide whether to risk their hard-earned cash. But there is a case for saying that if you want the share price to move up, buy the bloody stock!

Just saying.

Sharecast News) - Ethernity Networks announced on Friday that it has received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a core routing algorithm patent, further strengthening its intellectual property portfolio in data processing and access network technologies.

The AIM-traded firm said the patent application, filed in June 2022, covers a high-performance longest prefix match (LPM) routing algorithm capable of supporting hundreds of thousands of routes without the need for expensive external components such as TCAM.

It said the innovation was embedded in its pipeline data processor and originally designed for FPGA, with potential applicability in ASICs for scalable deployment.

The LPM algorithm forms part of the company's UEP product line, and is integral to its planned application-specific standard product (ASSP) roadmap, enabling advanced Layer 3 MPLS routing and carrier ethernet capabilities.

Once granted, the patent would bolster Ethernity's differentiated offering, which already includes patents for wireless link bonding and integrated PON functionality.

"This routing patent application significantly strengthens the company's intellectual property portfolio, reinforcing its position as a technology leader in data processing and access networking," the company said in a statement.

Ethernity added that securing such intellectual property was vital for tier-1 OEMs, offering commercial and legal protection for future deployments.

The patent was expected to be formally granted following completion of administrative steps.

At 1508 BST, shares in Ethernity Networks were up 10.73% at 0.02p.
