Why can it never hold its gains. If there is profit taking at this level that is absurd
I'm sorry but I really cannot see that happening this time round Paddy. Hope I'm wrong but just seems so depressed at the moment would not surprise me if it stays at these lows for the next decade
I'm sure someone has mentioned it on here but has anyone worked out what the current price of £.5.50 would equate to in the old price before all this stock buyback and rights issue. I'm guessing somewhere around 90p ???
Paddyboy1 just to confirm even on your first post 5k divi, does that mean you hold 100000 shares NEX.....
I know we're all trying to stay positive but we will only get real shareholder value when and if that bid comes which could take years. The market dislikes us or we would easy be over 1.80.
I was right when I said this will only move a few pence after strikes and now this will drift lower to a pound.
Like I said a few pence which looks like it currently and then will move further down. WM as Paddy clearly stated is only a small part of Nex so will not move up much now strikes are resolved. Only a takeover bid will get shareholders value.
Logic means nothing here. Shorters will keep taking price down.
Share holders need a bid to take them out of this predicament..
Share price will only go up a few pence come Monday. Will then lose most gains and return where it is now. Long turn will keep going lower . Only a bid will give share holders fair value.
It wasn't so much the number regarding the pay rise but there terms and conditions, the drivers are giving up basically every condition they have. Last strike up north somewhere took around 6 weeks to resolve so I reckon by end of April we should have a clearer idea and if the strike is resolved this will easily be back above 1.50
This looks like it's heading under a pound even if strikes get resolved there's too much market turbulence, that always prevails so sit tight or sell if you can't handle the pressure
If this keeps dropping towards a pound its only increases the chance and like many have said here there have been no purchases by directors. If that is not enough proof then what is unless they think the company is going bust then you ask yourself why are they paying dividends. They're obviously confident about the future!
Totally agree with Peakyblinder. This requires patience Longerguy and there might be more of a drop but as soon as the Strikes are over and the takeover bid comes this will rocket. As the old saying goes good things come to those who wait.
