October was the quietest news flow month since March, combine this with the fear of COVID, Parta not flowing straight away, the POO & I personally think the SP is doing ok. I was expecting much more of a drop today, especially with what’s been going on at site (or not been going on over the last week or so). It’s hard watch the money drip away but the end game hasn’t changed. Remember II’s invested £24million last year @ .90 & would have done their DD. That’s now a 60% increase required at today’s SP for them to break even. They were also privy to more information than we was!

Hey BH, I see a video from yesterday and nothing was happening, but have read this morning that the rig is back up and running. It will all be about what condition the hole is in.

All jokes aside JD they need to sort the rig out pronto! Will deffo have hole issues when get back up & running. I wouldn’t want to be in the drilling contractors shoes!

I would say they are waiting on a part for the rig. The videos seem to be true, (I was sceptical about them this morning) the rig hasn’t moved since Sunday. Can be the only explanation as to why it hasn’t moved & why there’s still 24 stands of pipe in the hole & the crew are cleaning to pass the time.

Just seen latest video on Twitter of a guy pressure washing & cleaning the outside of the carousel. Only means one things in my eyes as is what always happen when rig is on down time.

Swampies say the drillpipe is stuck in the hole. So think about this. Range 2 drill pipe is 9-10m per joint & 2 joints per stand. 24 stands in hole @ 10m per joint = 480m. 13 3/8” casing was set @ 505meters. This leaves 25m for the BHA and not all joints will be exactly 10mtrs. Most will be in the 9’s range. If they was stuck we would have seen them jarring or mobilising back off tools. You don’t sit about on a rig doing nothing for half the week.

Hey GP, tbh I’ll take all the data with a pinch of salt as not sure if they’re from the official programme. Also if the well is 15,20 or 25 degrees inclination it’s not gonna make any difference to us as investors. Just a difference from MD vs TVD. Again using the schematic on Twitter (still unsure if an official document) the difference between the two is 43m.

If you look at the schematic the difference is 43m.

According to the schematic on Twitter they are building 2degrees/30m to 15.59 degrees.

Yes agree with those comments from ddboy. When we refer to vertical it will be slightly deviated as no well is straight down. However the deviation won’t be a lot.

With regards to the log this can be done to work out hole size but only in exceptional circumstances of hole wash out, I’m talking greater than 40% of what it should be. Other than that they would just pump excess until get returns at surface.

Just doesn’t add up BH, going by timings has to be 9 5/8” but doesn’t make sense why logging truck there as KA deeper. Only thing I can think of is that they wanted to log something in the Sherwood Sandstone or the Roxby formations. As these are within that section TD of 1533m. (Going by the schematic info on Twitter)

From the pic can also tell that it’s Down Hole Products float equipment & centralisers (as purple). The casing grade is L80 as red couplings. Reviewing timings it has to be 9 5/8” IMO.

New picture on Twitter of casing laid out on racks (can’t tell which size thou) and a Weatherford Wireline logging truck rigged up.

It’s possible as formation there isn’t that hard, but would need to sustain just under 3m/hr. still not seen any evidence of casing run, we can’t see the Wireline truck that’s on site. So we are second guessing at the moment with regards to depth. They may have only had enough drillpipe in the carousel to reach section TD rather than well TD.

100% won’t be fishing as would fish on Drillpipe. However strange to be logging or coring now as can’t be deep enough.

People can say what they like when playing games as it’s just that, games. I’ve always maintained that if you buy or sell on what someone says then you deserve to lose money. What they say cannot manipulate the share price, just the people reading it.

I read a post last month and the person was complaining about the chairman & a certain investor site as he bought in on what was said in a video! weeks later he was down circa 50%.

BTW persi was fully loaded up with RBD shares a while back & was resident ramper, he just wasn’t patient enough.

The West Newton A-2 well was spudded on 26 April 2019 and, on 9 June 2019, reached a total depth (TD) of 2061 metres. So 45 days for total ops. I’m guessing the late release of the RNS was to check the data.

WNB spudded on 4th Oct so we are on day 20, nearly half way through the previous duration. Is hard to pin point where we are exactly as the footage from site hasn’t been great. Seen no casing laid out on racks or deliveries. Amazes me that people were sending out drone footage of the construction phase but then nothing during ops.

I will be extremely disappointed with the dynamic duo if we get 1 RNS at the end of the drilling.

Is very strange BH. Mostly sells and only small buys. The money seems to be going into UJO. However we do have the big boys behind us who are still underwater and they will know more than we do!
