Long term the shorts have it unless fundamental news breaks for the vaccine, no lockdown, flights, aeroplane engine contracts etc.
6.9 billion shares at 32p are not funny but pure penny share dilution. The trend is down.

The date of record is the day on which the company checks its records to identify shareholders of the company. An investor must be listed on that date to be eligible for a dividend payout. The date of payment is the day the company mails out the dividend to all holders of record.
SP usually falls after record date 23/10/2020 as any buys will not receive rights issued. SP has to stay up until the end of 23/10 then if SP has not fallen by 24/10/2020 something else is amiss. If we have 1.9 billion shares in issue and about 6.9 billion dilutions at 32p considered at 130p price in Sept. we have a flat liner for share price or a crash coming.
You are already qualified for the dividend if bought 2 or 3 days before ex. div today, however, sellers may only worry that special div. in some cases required you to be on register 2 to 3 days after normal ex.div days. Therefore if you had 200000 shares you have £ 96720 dividend payment date and as AGP is delisting you might as well sell off the 200000 at 1p to get £2000 extra or nothing at delisting day.
It's been said many times that you can buy for div. a day before ex-div but this is not all true. In fact, this is the most dangerous statement on the internet. The truth is you can only qualify for the Div. on ex-div day if you buy T+2 or T+3 days as it takes the number of days for your share to fall on the register. If anyone checks the shares they buy you will note the days for the shares to register whether buys or sells. I emphasize this because you could lose a lot of money hoping that you qualify. The LAST day to qualify for SPO is Monday.

AGP Asian Growth Properties AIM 41.5p HK$4.9584 116.85% 13-NovView Dividend Announcement 07-Dec 18-Dec 41.5 x 116.85% = 48.977 p per share. Which makes the two 100000 shares sold 8.30am at 40p silly.

Hope the SUBWAY Contract is as transformational as we hope. A GATE trend per day to £4 per share would be wonderful and actually just right.
