THG is an amazing business at an amazing low price at the moment. If you can't see that there's just no talking to you I'm afraid.

My recommendation to new investors would be to dip a toe in and continue to buy if the price does drop from here. I think we need to keep an eye on replying on negative thread titles!!! I've just done it myself actually before your reply :-)
De-rampers working for the few shorts which are left or the shorts on this board want us to keep seeing the titles like "Sold 20000 @ 117.90 hope to buy back later", because it gives a subconscious signal of doubt to new investors coming to the board. That's why they spam it with negative subject lines. Lets all try to keep the Subject lines positive :-)

My longer term target is 2.50-£3.00 +++ over the next year

I'd like some updates sooner too, but I get the feeling THG are keeping quiet and prepping for big announcements rather than letting info out bit by bit. They have been slated in the past for their trading updates. My guess is they want to get the new Chairman on board and then have everything ready in one go.
However, I expect there could be some leaks or other brands talking about their work with THG, like we saw with Matalan previously which hiked the price up
