Obviously you have found different information to me passiton. The range I have found is $66-$90 per carat albeit a couple of years back. Diamonds from this region are not of the quality you would put on a young ladies finger. I'm happy to wait and see. If $18-$21m then so much the better but I'm working on $13.5m as top value.
Iraq and KRG have not been able to sort this out in years so I can't see this being sorted any time soon. GKP were moving the oil by truck not so long ago. Did they mothball the trucks or have they gone?
I found this 'Zimbabwe’s third diamond auction for 2018 has raked in $28 million realised from 423 066 carats, Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Winston Chitando has said.' That's $66 per carat.
As I've and HFB has said many times, the true worth of the assets can not be realised until the go ahead is given to take it out of the ground and get it to market.
Passiton, if the market believes that Chuditch is a goer and a sale is imminent, surely the MC would be considerably higher? I'm looking for 3p to 5p especially if Dunrobin sold also.
