With OPTI selling down holdings in SBTX did take a look at them. Share price and sentiment at rock bottom and lots of dissatisfaction from holders. But from this starting point, if, and that’s probably a big if, things started to come together as stated, it ,like SBTX, could turn into a strong buy very quickly. Decided to take a very small position this morning, only £1500, to give me the incentive to monitor and add if any progress noted.

Hopefully they can keep hold of our shares, and if we were to double, their holding would almost cover the current market cap. As I say, a big IF.

Looks like what I expected to happen yesterday could be happening today. Having got back in, think I will stay now regardless.

Decided to make small starting investment, just over £1500, to give incentive to monitor and research a bit more.

Buys were marked as sells but that’s not unusual. Hope there can be some positive outcomes and will add more as/if things seem to be going in right direction. Meanwhile my main investment will stay with SBTX.

Yes thanks for that. It was in fact reading through that Rns that caused my interest and original post. To me that feels promising but having also read the comments about past promises not materialising I was looking for some balanced views. Can only be a personal decision to invest and judge the risk / reward and this is obviously not an easy one but am keeping a close watch and ready to jump onboard. Thanks

Hi lord. My comment related to Sbtx where I sold yesterday afternoon and bought back this afternoon. 20.05 for most sale and 19.78 for main repurchase but all bought back at below price sold at. Not a lot as I said. Not happy trying to trade as I expected it to drop back fairly quickly. This is share I want to be in and was concerned when the fall did not materialise today. Will hold now as originally intended, too easy to get timing wrong and miss out If it falls I know it will come back so not trying that again. Hope that clarifies. I have no reason to mislead. It was as much about a note and warning to myself in reality. Regards

Thanks all for those thoughts. It’s easy to look at things a bit more positively when just considering now, but think best to hold off for moment and take a watching brief. Would be good though if some of the promise comes good. If keep making money on Sbtx there might be a bit to find for a bit of a gamble later.

Not normally trading shares but did sell out yesterday to try to buy back lower. Worried ever since as it hardly moved down so bought all back in after lunch and proved to be just in time, making a small gain on number held, but not doing that again. Things can change too quickly.

Am buyer of SBTX & there is a lot of cross chat also about OPTI on there so was interested to take a look.

Seems to be disaster area looking at price after continuing sales after dissatisfaction from long term holders and failed promises etc.

But SBTX is going up and when it doubles its present price, if OPTI are still holding current shareholding it will almost cover the present market cap.

So, given all the history etc. is it all possible that the planned progress here could actually happen. Looking with a possible new shareholders eyes, if that was a possibility this would seem to be a good time to get in. But can also understand why many thought it was a good time to get out.

Are there any positive viewpoints here. ???

Having been in since the lows and getting such a good run up, did take the opportunity to sell yesterday afternoon over 20. Had never intended to trade but felt that it would be good to buy back more if it pulled back a bit. Not sure now that this will happen. Probably a good buy signal as I have got timings wrong before in similar circumstances. Anyway, full confidence this is only going generally in one direction this year so watching carefully ready to buy back, whichever way it moves.

Thanks for that information. Have got visual studio, so will treat it as a challenge to try some simple retrievals first, then can progress to something hopefully more useful. Will have a read up on the programming language as well.

Can understand not wanting to name sites. I will try out the process first on just any data, then can look at best places to go for most relevant data.

Will keep me away from continually looking at share prices. lol.

Was interested in your comments on having coded to screen opportunities. Thought that would be good to do , even as a bit of a challenge. Did some basic games (very basic) on spectrum so showing my age but always enjoyed spreadsheets and databases & formulas etc.

Is it fairly straightforward to pickup and is data readily available to “scrape”. Not done that before but did do website some years back.

Not sure if you are familiar with sharescope which offers stock screening and wether you end up with something similar, but of course that is quite expensive. Interesting topic to pursue though. Regards

Yes was just a small trade offered in the closing auction.

It is odd but have seen wild movements like that created on other shares occasionally and it appeared the aim was to create a movement / spike on the chart.

Should not affect where we open which would hopefully be close to where normal trading closed.

Don’t mind if that’s not the case, as long as the alternative is a big move up. lol

Think that was likely a sell. Not me but dummy sales here offered at that. Whatever it is, it’s done now anyway.

And now again after hours. 2 x 840000 again at same price but I’m pretty sure that’s not 2 sales.

Would just add that non of what happens is affecting my view / actions. I am holding and still buying and unconcerned with day to day patterns.

The only point I was observing was that most of the large sales have had 2 trades within a minute ish for the same qty. Take 250000 as example but same with 100000 & 50000 as well. Would have thought it unlikely to get a second trade of that volume at the same price though. It is that that made me suggest it could have been a rollover or transfer of some sort.

I appreciate that alongside all this the price is slowly falling but I was just making the observation that it looked different from a normal pattern of sales or trades. Nothing to add apart from that but noticed it today and yesterday and wondered if anyone may have anything to add by way of understanding. Wasn’t looking to contradict or provoke. Regards

Still note though that appearing in matching pairs mainly at same price so don’t think what is happening is as clear as it looks. Can’t understand though why it knocks price as it does unless it relates to the mix of market maker that is used in the transactions. There again I may be talking complete rubbish, which has been known to happen on the odd occasion. Lol

Yes, lots of big sells which seems odd but noticed many seem to be in pairs giving impression that might be just transnsfers to isa or pension say, or maybe rollovers. Just a thought.
