It needs Japanese retail to get involved. Without that there is no momentum for foreign buyers to jump on. Jap Small cap needs to be strategically traded, with say a base position that is increased/reduced periodically. The asset class goes through periods of feast or famine - this could easily move 75%. Nothing wrong with the manager, approach or portfolio names. Folks tend to buy it after a stellar period and then regret it.

Old rule of money management - if you'd buy the whole position here, now, today, then hold on. If not for some reason, sell it. Must say that I too am fed up with the BoD (asleep at the wheel) but note the largest holder is now a hedge fund. They're only going to wait for so long...
