French banking giant wants to offload the estate agency chain amid a surge of corporate activity in the estate agency sector.
Investors are also taking an interest in Foxtons after it emerged recently that the London-listed estate agency could be put up for sale.
Foxtons recently added bankers at Rothschild as financial advisers in anticipation of a bid.
A spokesperson for the French bank told EYE that BNP Paribas Real Estate does not comment on market rumour.
Lomond Group was created from the merger of Lomond Capital and Linley & Simpson in 2021, a deal which established a business with 22,000 properties under management.
The company has a particularly prominent presence in cities such as Aberdeen, Birmingham and Leeds.
It trades under brands such as Thornley Groves, Braemore and John Shepherd.
The prospective auction comes as speculation grows about a potential bid for Foxtons, the London-listed estate agent.
Everywhere you look on the news its about Chinas growing electric car production and the fact they are overtaking Tesla.Im not an expert on Lithiam by any means but surley if this is the case they will need more batteries production right ?or is this just too simplistic ? With China making this growth it will mean the evolution of electric vehicles will be accelerated

Prob includes acquisition numbers .All a bit cloak and dagger to me.Al;l very mice buying 300 new minis but 300 x 30k a go is a lot of dosh.
Seems a bit top line vanity but maybe medium term will come good.But disappointing when the detail is given IMO and the market agrees by looks of it
