LOL peakview, I certainly hope my typo doesn't come to fruition.
Welcome onboard. That is a very good entry point you got. I doubt you will regret your investment it.
Still holding IOG, no dilution to fund merger and a calculated exposure to DELTs potentially massive upside potential. The best of both worlds you could say. I hold both for exactly the same reason.
GL MT1
If it breaks 485 I may need to bite the bullet and commit.
Looking strong. I may have misjudged and missed my chance to double down. Time will tell
1,000 shares @ 16.52 Total £16,520
It does seem that the vast majority of ARCM shares are in sticky hands.
Great find Fulmar. Very positive. If AA do come on board this is going to fast track big time. Hopefully SP does too.
Very positive vibes around shipbuilding in the UK and InfraStrata in particular.
On 25th August Boris Johnson paid a visit to Appledore and said: “This exciting new chapter for Appledore will create hundreds of new jobs in the South West and beyond, and will drive forward our ambitions to become a shipbuilding superpower”. The PM would not comment on work lined up for Appledore, citing commercial confidentiality and the procurement process but a Prime Ministerial visit would also suggest that a future workload is assured and this is supported by the investment being made by Infrastrata.
On 17 September The Prime Minister, speaking before the Commons Liaison Committee, said
“On shipbuilding alone, you should look at the ambitions of the Defence Secretary and what we are doing with the Fleet Solid Support ships, the investments we are making in frigates, the Type 31s, the Type 26s. This is going to be a fantastic time for investment in shipbuilding.”
IMO, it seems a case of when, not if we start to see contacts rolling in.
Mike, Glide, I don't mind an alternative view but there really needs to be some substance to make it worth listening too.
Endlessly whining about the BOD sitting on their hands and doing nothing when in reality they are doing exactly what they advertised they would i.e. Acquiring licences, working them up for farm out and progressing towards drilling. If you wanted something different you should have invested in a different company.
Sure it may be taking a long time but unfortunately that goes with investing in a micro cap expiration company with very little money. If you wanted something faster you should have invested in a bigger company with more resources who could go it alone.
I am a firm believer in taking accountability for your own actions.
If we find commercial gas in one of our licences I will have made a good judgement and will profit handsomely.
If we don't I will have made a bad judgment and I will loose a lot of money.
It's on me to decide who and how I invest no one else.
Helping customers develop cheaper drugs.
CRISPR screening allows customers to identify genetic issues early in the development cycle.
Gaining knowledge about a drug in a genetic context at the clinical trial stage is an expensive risk. CRISPR screening helps identify such issues earlier in the development cycle making drug development more efficient and cost effective.
With small to medium sized Pharma Biotech outsourcing this CRISPR work to HZD we can expect continued revenue growth from CRISPR.
Good to see another director buying. Its modest but must still be seen as positive.
Mike you are starting to sound desperate now.
Stop blaming others for your situation.
YOU invested here.
YOU have held long term.
YOU had the chance, over the last month or so to sell your holding, at better or equal terms to those offered by IOG and move your investment over over to them.
Do yourself and everyone else a favour. If You want to be part of the IOG story so badly, bite the bullet, sell up and move your investment to them.
Good article, thanks, definately worth a read.
Agree Loosegooose. Even without the potential Islandmagee upside this looks cheap at £25m.
Nice to see Centamin rise well in a day when Gold is falling. Imagine the possibilities when Gold rallies again.
Nice to see Shanta rise well in a day when Gold is falling. Imagine the possibilities when Gold rallies again.
Nice to see Poly rising on a day when Gold is falling.
Copper rallying well and holding above 30300 after meeting some resistance ar 30500. Hopefully it can gain some momentum for rise upwards.
Thanks Cookoo, gues we can both agree that we hope I am right.
Hopefully in 2 years time we are discussing how well things have gone since we knocked back IOG and how glad we are that the did.
Exploration, for full clarity IOGs management are taking a minority share of their salaries as options convertible at 1p. With current SP discounted at 13.5p it's hardly dependent on future success.
I hold IOG, know their BOD, assets and project inside out. I actually have some experience working with one of their NEDs. I know IOGs strengths an weaknesses very well.
I was all for the merger / takeover, at the right price but did not want my investment in DELT diluted into IOG at anything less than fair value. I wanted to maintn fair pro rata upside potential to DELTs assets. Do not think for one minute there is no risk associated with IOG.
Regarding DELTs management I can tell you that GS and AN are well regarded in oil and gas circles. The same cannot be said about, some, not all IOGs BOD.
Gold was weak this morning but seems to be rallying a little now.
