NEL HYDROGEN partner Everfuel starts hydrogen refueling in Sweden

NEL HYDROGEN , EVERFUEL & partner Trelleborg Energy, August 2021. Jon Andre Lokke stated Everfuel are readying to ask for the contract of supply to start before year end Q4 2021. Again, get ready.
"The station in Trelleborg is a part of Everfuel’s ramp-up phase of the announced plan to invest EUR 1.5 billion in developing the green hydrogen value chain in Europe and reach EUR 1 billion of revenue from sale of hydrogen fuel to buses, trucks, and cars before 2030. "

NEL HYDROGEN US "PEM capacity, we are probably more -- we are working to set up the concept for expanding and maybe the logical place would be also to look at Europe to see if we can have a PEM facility in Europe.

So, Kjell Christian and I will go over to the US now for the first time in two years plus in November. We will spend the two weeks in the US, and we will also obviously spend a few days at Wallingford. And I can assure you that's one of the topics that we will talk about when we are in Wallingford."

I understand PEM Electrolysers , ( was Proton OnSite ) Wallingford , USA where the PEM orders are built and filled since 2015 is to be looked at for expansion.

HEROYA HYDROGEN FACTORY - NEL HYDROGEN.
"Herøya will start to produce now for Nikola and for Everfuel in quarter four. And specifically, I think Everfuel has given some guidance on their own when they expect the relevant project to be up and running and we will have revenue recognition over time until the plant is up and running.

On the Nikola order, we did say that we will have deliveries or production of that all through next year. So that will be over a longer time period than normal and that's also why we commented, specifically on that order in the last quarterly report. "

NEL HYDROGEN PEM ELECTROLYSER - LARGEST IN THE WORLD :-
"Iberdrola, we are – we actually also have a contractor with Iberdrola. So we are working very hard on getting the first molecules out of that facility by the end of the year. That's a tough one is – it's in Spain, producing green renewable hydrogen for fertilizer production with Fertiberia, 20-megawatt PEM facility, the largest PEM facility in Europe actually. That will be up and running, hopefully or start to produce by the end of the year. So that's a lot more than just an MOU."

NEL HYDROGEN NEW PROJECTS - Next 6 months new projects several by Q1 2022.
"They are involved in several countries providing different technology solutions to address a larger project or a larger issue. So we do think that we will start to see more visibility on this in the first quarter next year and we will probably see the conclusion before midyear next year. "

NEL HYDROGEN US Nuclear - Jon Andre Lokke -
"where there is nuclear there is also a lot of intermittent nuclear strangely enough because the nuclear power plant doesn't fluctuate up and down. You cannot turn it on and off. So you do run it at pretty much the same base load even though the grid may need more or less energy. So in those periods you were able to capture that energy. And rather than just burn it off you can actually turn into hydrogen and capture that value. So that's basically what we're trying to do now in a relatively small scale in the US, but certainly relevant in many, many other locations in different parts of the world. "

Nel Hydrogen - 2019 Receives purchase order from Shell for two additional heavy duty fueling stations.
So NEL has been working with Shell US for a few years now. The newest confirmation in Oct 2021.

(Oslo, 12 April 2019) Nel Hydrogen Inc., a subsidiary of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL), has received a purchase order for the delivery of two additional H2Station® units for fueling of heavy duty fuel cell electric trucks in California from EQUILON Enterprises LLC (d/b/a/ Shell Oil Products US). The purchase order is issued under the previously announced framework agreement between Nel and Shell Global Solutions International B.V.

“We are happy to support Shell with two additional H2Station® fueling stations for heavy-duty trucks in California. We look forward to assist with expansion of the hydrogen fueling coverage in the Greater Los Angeles area which can help a transition to renewable and zero emission trucking.” says Jon André Løkke.

The purchase order has a total value exceeding $7 million. The stations will be located in the Greater Los Angeles area and expand the fueling coverage for hydrogen powered heavy duty fuel cell electric trucks.

"The Hydrogen Heavy Duty Vehicle Industry Group, which comprises Air Liquide, Hyundai, Nel Hydrogen, Nikola Corporation, Shell, and Toyota, signed agreements with Tatsuno Corporation and Transfer Oil to industrialize 70 MPa hydrogen heavy-duty vehicle high-flow (H70HF) fueling hardware components. “Tatsuno, an international hydrogen fuel equipment provider … is designing and developing vehicle receptacle and dispenser nozzle and breakaway components, whereas Transfer Oil, considered one of the most valued manufacturers of reinforced thermoplastic hoses in the industry, is leading the design and development of a hydrogen dispenser fueling hose,” Hyundai wrote last week. Testing is scheduled to commence in Q4 2021, with preliminary performance and safety results available in Q1 2022. “Together with other industry players, Nikola is pushing the development and introduction of the new H70HF standard. The development of this hardware is an integral part to enable projected fueling times competitive to diesel fueling times,” said Christian Appel, Nikola Global Chief Engineer."
