RE: RE: Very large Base breakout?28 Nov 2024 04:53
Most long term holders have averages much higher. Just as Johnstoneo who has always proclaimed there's is at 20p an average of sub 5 really is a great one to have. Like it or not posting history doesn't lie, of course people can change minds but there were oracles saying huge values when this was trading 30p plus. With juniors you find prophets to be in early, timing is so crucial. A lot of the barriers experienced in the last few years have been removed that stops any momentum building. News flow is so important for a junior and Omi have spades of it just now and lined up to wet the markets appetite. They have always been consistent that the majors rushed the final drills and wanted to go from step 2 to 10 instead of doing the small steps to get to the bigger goal. Much was made of the majors leaving, but I do have on record they were very keen on moving to phase 2. They even got as far as public hearings to get a couple of licences actioned, in which the Colombian government pulled the plug on. Fate was then cruel with these companies just getting so big with their takeovers. But when one door closes another opens and usually ends up being better with hard work and determination. Colombia has opened up again for the mining space, which is good to see and plenty success stories in the mod cauca and companies doing extremely well. The last run up was at a much weaker gold price, look at the price now. Any bigger fish could fund the exploration with their profits just now easily. I'd say Omi want to be on the front foot leading the exploration here and really advancing the project, so any suitors will have to match those timelines and I am sure there is interest. The project itself has had 30m US plus spent on it so far, and has had some outstanding hits. A back catalogue even abba would be proud of, the areas being drilled now that got everyone excited was 150m at 3g/t Au from surface. This program is designed to answer geological questions but also to prove that Omi are worth investing in. If they succeed, which I am sure they will. The market, with 100pc of Anza, these results and a resource estimate in the offing could blow the socks of the current share price. And when I say blow, I mean blow. Aim needs a junior drilling and a mining darling and I think Omi has always had that potential. Canada at 5.1p equivalent right now. So it makes sense to chip in here as the momentum could take it anywhere. Much respected geo posters have the Anza land package estimated so far at between 2 million to 3 million ounces. Personally I think it has much more potential.
